New Girl 101 (Dinner time.)
Spencer’s POV:
It is currently 9 A.M. and I am on my way to the church bake sale mom signed me up for. Last night was fun, it was nice of Ashley to welcome me like that… I don’t know why but she just interests me so much. Her world is completely different from mine. She’s independent and she is herself. I was so worried about moving to LA, but now for some weird reason I think it was the best decision. Sure I miss home and the friends I left back there, but meeting Ashley here was a godsend. We get to the church and set up for the sale…my brownies will definitely be sold out so I set a few aside before so maybe Ashley could have one later. Yes…I really hope she comes to dinner. She acted like she liked me, I’m kind of nervous about calling her later on.
Ashley’s POV:
So its now noon on a saturday and I am still in my pajamas…
Last night was so sweet and who knew school could be so fun. Well, now it is because of Spencer. Its strange to think I just met her just yesterday, that girl should have came here a long time ago. I know…I know…we just met and she’s straight, but maybe thats not set in stone? I’m hoping she will call me soon, I’m getting anxious to hear from her. I really hope she had a good time last night…Oh hello captain crunch!
My phone rings, I rush to see who it is…
(Screen reads, “Mom”)
Ashley: Well…I guess if its important she’ll leave me a voicemail.
I shower and get dressed…still no call from Spencer. Ugh, I’m getting nervous. Me? Nervous? What is wrong with you Davies? Pull.Yourself.Together. I go to the kitchen to find some grub. My phone starts to ring again….
(screen reads “Spencer”)
Ashley: YES!…(calm down, try to sound cool, confident…I’ll answer after I do my dance…)
Ashley: HEY! (Yelling, happily into the phone)
Spencer: Hi…Ashley?
Ashley: Oh..sorry haha, I was rushing to the phone…(no you were dancing and excited)
Spencer: Hey, ok. Well sorry it took so long. Things at the church took forever to pack up. Are you free tonight then?
