               Alices head was pounding, she was unsure of the time, but looking around she could tell it was morning. She had drunk herself to sleep, trying to black out the night before. She had cried so hard, that she was kind of numb now. Then she heard it again, a loud knock at her door. That was what had woken her from her drunken slumber.

                She rose dizzy, catching the side of the couch that she had fallen asleep on. Walking slow and muttering to herself, she heard a voice on the other side. Alice open the door, its Shane. I know you are in there. Come on I have been out her for five minutes already. That was when Alice remembered, she had told Shane to come over around four, so that they could go shopping. ***** is it already four Alice thought to herself. Then there was the continuous knocking.

                Im coming Alice yelled putting her hand to her head. Stop knocking I have a headache.

                Alice opened the door to a smiling Shane, but as soon as Shane laid eyes on Alice her smile turned downwards. What the ***** happened to you? Shane asked.

                Thanks Shane, nice to see you too. Can you give me like twenty minutes to get ready? Alice thought that just sending Shane away, would not be good. She knew that she was going to have to tell her friends that she broke up with Dana, and that she was moving. So why not start with Yoda.

                Alicewhat happened? Shane asked again concerned about her friend.

                Nothing, I am not allowed to sleep late. I have been really stressed lately. Shane looked around and saw empty bottles of alcohol ever where. Used tissues scattered around the apartment, and in the middle of it all, there was a picture of Dana. Stained with tears. Then it hit her. Some thing big happened. Alice saw the look in Shane eyes. I do not want to talk about It. with that she walked out of the room, to shower. She needed to clear her head before she talked to Shane.

                Shane stood there for a moment, questioning if she really wanted to know what happened. Maybe she would wake up and this would be a dream. Because she knew that whatever happened to Alice, could only be explained with one word. Dana.

    1. sad. please post soon. i’ve been home sick for a couple of days, and i keep checking for danish updates. thanks for this one. wonder how the rest of the gang will react and if alice will come to her senses.

    2. Just read all of your posts, and i really like this story!! I dont know how I missed it…anyway…you are a great writer! I loved your describtion in the last chapter about being in love with your best friend and how much it kills you to see them being hurt. You really captured what it feels like. I hope you post soon!
