    Shhh… Don’t Tell Anyone Part.16

Days flew by again and the big wedding was right around the corner, Shane and Carmen had decided to get married in Canada so it would be also the honey moon and a family trip, everyone was happy and excited, Carmen was very nervous and a bit sad ‘cause her family refused to go to her wedding they told her to call them when the person she was marring was a man. And she was very hurt, so Shane came up with a very bad idea, but she knew she had nothing to lose so she told all her friends that she had to go to West Hollywood to pick up Carmen’s wedding present, everyone was very suspicious but no one asked.

So Shane left a note for Carmen without saying exactly where she was going or what she was doing and told the rest of the family to keep the secret.

Shane was sacred, she didn’t knew what the outcome of her plan would be, but she knew she had to do this, just because she loved Carmen so much.

As she was knocking on the door she felt the urge to just runaway but she stayed to see Carmen’s mother opening the door and then slamming it to her face, but she managed to stop her.

                     – Please let me talk to you, I only need five minutes.-

                    – No, you get away; I don’t want to talk to you. –  The mom said upset

                    – Listen I know you don’t want to see me, but please I have to talk to you about your daughter.-

                     – Carmen? What happened to her? –

                     – She’s heartbroken.-

                     – But why, what you do to her? –

                     – Nothing, you did.-

                     – Me?  I didn’t do anything to her.-

                     – Yes you did, you rejected her, you told her you would rather her being a whore than a lesbian, you cut her off from your life, just ‘cause she’s gay. How could you do that? She loves you so much, She’s a great daughter, always worried about you and trying her best to help you when she can, she never did drugs never did anything wrong, and yet you chose to ignore her on the most important day of her life just ‘cause she fell in love with me, you hurt her a lot. –  Carmen’s mom has her eyes filled with tears. – I love her, and I know that she wants her family at her wedding, so despite the fact that I was terrified I’m here trying to convince you to be there for her. Everyday she goes on and on about how happy it would make her to have her mother helping her to pick out a dress, or the shoes, you know and all the other traditional things you guys do. So I’m leaving it in your hands, here are the plain tickets and reservations I’ve made for you. If you chose to go you’ll be in time to help her, if not then… well then I just wasted my time. – Shane handed the older Latina the tickets and some other papers and then walked away.
