    I Wish CH15
     

    Tina sat on the sofa and looked around at the familiar walls, and floors and shades on the windows. She reflected on the conversation she had the day before with Bette about why she bought this house. Sitting there surrounded by memories of Bette’s laugh, Bette’s smile, Bette’s unique scent which seemed to permeate the walls in the house, she thought to herself how could she not buy this house. It was her home. It was her daughters home, and it was filled with memories of the only other person, other than her daughter, that Tina had ever loved. There was no other place she could be, or that she wanted to be, this was where she had to be.

    She reflected on what she told Bette and how it all came out. She was afraid of the out come or lack of one to be precise.

     

     

    Bette sat at the Planet, drinking her coffee and lost in her thoughts. She went over the conversation between her and Tina from yesterday, and was still in shock of the admissions in that conversation.

    "Why did you buy that house?"

    "Please don’t ask me that Bette."

    " I think I have a right to know."

    "I agree, you do, but you aren’t going to like my answers."

    "Tina why do we have to play these ridiculous games? For once can you please just tell me the truth without the chase?"

    "Bette, please. I don’t want to fight. I just am not comfortable telling you why at this moment."

    "Tina, if you ever had any regard for me in last almost nine years, you will quit being coy and be straightforward with me right now."

    "Dammit Bette! Why are you pushing this? It is just a house after all. Isn’t that what you told everyone when you sold it? You wanted to get rid of it, so why should it matter why I bought it? Can’t you please just take it at face value?"

    "No Tina, I can’t. I can’t trust that the truth is what I am hearing. Not anymore."

    "I’m sorry Bette. You’re right. Why would you? I didn’t when the tables were turned. But really, you don’t want to know."

    2. Interesting confession, but why is Tina was harsh with Bette? That’s a great way to win back the love our you life, use the D & F words then hang up on her. Her quote after hanging up seemed like something she should have said to Bette and not just to herself out loud.Please keep posting as I look for update on this one!

    7. I think Tina’s reply came out like that cause she is mad that she is still vulnerable to Bette and Bette has her heart. She is trying to fight the feelings but she can’t…she knows it…we know it…if only we can get IC to know it…sigh. More please.

    9. As long as they (T and B) are talking they still care; once they no longer care to communicate then they NO LONGER CARE!!!! so keep it coming…the reunion, I mean. PPS

    11. Tina just let it all out..didn’t she? I hope she and Bette can sit down and have a good conversation and start moving forward. Thanks for the updates..I’m caught up now.

    13. Well Bette did ask. She kinda deserves that, cos heavan forbid she ever talks to anyone. Though I know exactly how that is cos I do the same thing. Now lets get them talking, maybe if she can visit with Tina and Angelica at the house the memories will once again be good.

    15. Tina finally laid her cards on the table. Now it is Bette’s turn to figure out how to talk to Tina without trying to hurt her. I know that Tina deserves what Bette is dishing out to her, and I also know that Bette is trying to protect what is left of her heart. I guess now is the time to talk about how both are really feeling about the other.

    16. Bette, be careful what you ask for, because you might just get it. And I think Tina just gave it to you in this chapter. It is remarkable how a home can evoke feelings in people. Hope you will update us soon on this one.
