"Uh oh, what’s up Bette? I feel a little bout of self pity coming on here."
"Nothing. And I am not having a bout of self pity, thanks very much. Just a little reflection, and musing."
"Oh, cause that’s different then." Alice smirked at Bette as her sarcasm came through.
"You win Al. You are a professional smart ass."
With a big sigh, Bette took a sip of here coffee and tried to clear her mind of her thoughts.
"You sure you’re okay Bette. You seem a little distracted. Work okay?"
"Yeah it is. It’s fine. I’m getting used to how things are there, but it’s good. I like it."
"So then what is going on to put that frown on your face my friend?"
Bette looked at Alice and realized she needed to talk about Tina.
"Did you know that Tina bought a house?"
"I new she was looking for one. I’m glad she found something. Why?"
"Then you didn’t know she bought our house? Our old one? The one we had together for seven years?"
"You’re kidding me? Really?"
"Yes really. Oh fuck Al, it’s so messed up. Everything is so messed up." Bette put her head into her hands.
"But I thought you said it was just a house. I didn’t think it meant that much to you. Is that what is bothering you?"
"Honestly Al? I only sold the house because all I could see in every corner of every room was memories of her and I. Memories of laughing, of crying, of making love. Everywhere I looked in there, I saw her. And the one day I let myself, I saw her in there with him. And the next day I put the house on the market."
"Holy shit Bette! Why didn’t you talk to us about it. We would have tried to talk you out of it at least."
"I thought I was doing the right thing Al. I thought if I moved on, moved out, left all of that behind, that I could and would be moving on with my life. Then last night, after you and Shane left my brand new condo, all I wanted to do was go home, to the house and to the memories."
"Well how did you find out that Tina bought it? When?"
"She called me last night. To tell me. She moves in there today."
"Holy shit! Did you guys argue again?"
"As usual you mean? Sort of."
"Bette you guys can’t hate each other forever. You have to start to get along, for Angelica’s sake."
" I think hate may be a long way from what is really going on Al."

It’s funny how the same memories can make people react differently.
Interesting confession, but why is Tina was harsh with Bette? That’s a great way to win back the love our you life, use the D & F words then hang up on her. Her quote after hanging up seemed like something she should have said to Bette and not just to herself out loud.Please keep posting as I look for update on this one!
Now get Bette talking to Tina and sort out this mess…Awesome update.

I think Tina’s reply came out like that cause she is mad that she is still vulnerable to Bette and Bette has her heart. She is trying to fight the feelings but she can’t…she knows it…we know it…if only we can get IC to know it…sigh. More please.

As long as they (T and B) are talking they still care; once they no longer care to communicate then they NO LONGER CARE!!!! so keep it coming…the reunion, I mean. PPS

Well Bette did ask. She kinda deserves that, cos heavan forbid she ever talks to anyone. Though I know exactly how that is cos I do the same thing. Now lets get them talking, maybe if she can visit with Tina and Angelica at the house the memories will once again be good.

Tina finally laid her cards on the table. Now it is Bette’s turn to figure out how to talk to Tina without trying to hurt her. I know that Tina deserves what Bette is dishing out to her, and I also know that Bette is trying to protect what is left of her heart. I guess now is the time to talk about how both are really feeling about the other.
Bette, be careful what you ask for, because you might just get it. And I think Tina just gave it to you in this chapter. It is remarkable how a home can evoke feelings in people. Hope you will update us soon on this one.
