    Hi.  My Name Is…. 

     

     

                Hi.  My name is Angelica Jade Kenter, and I’m here to tell you about my two moms.  No this isn’t a TV show spin off of My Two Dads, that I’ve seen on Nick At Nite.  It’s all about the romance and the love, and of course about me.  Fabulous and sexy little me, who is a cut up and a complete and total brat when I need to be, which is most of the time, or so I’ve been told.  This is kinna my journal, it started as a writing assignment for English Comp, but now it’s taken on a life of its own.  I didn’t expect it to, but when it did, I really thought that it was cathartic, therapeutic, and I’m darn right funny when it comes down to it.

     

                I know that sounds a little outrageous, but currently it really isn’t weird to have two moms.  See, for the first part of my life I only had my other mom in my life, just for a little while she was alone with me.  Her name is Bette Porter, my birth mom, Tina Kennard, was in a coma, cuz I was a little tough her body.  As you can see my last name Kenter, sort of a Hodge Podge of both names, and since Tina is the birth mom, Ken came first and Ter is from PorTER.  Can you imagine if they’d gone the other way?  Pornard?  I mean, PORN?  Imagine?  I’m getting ahead of myself, but I have that tendency.  I have to look back sometimes to see just where I’m really at, did you get that joke?   If you did, you get a gold star for the day….

     

                I’m tall, way taller than my birth mom, standing tall on the basketball courts at 5’11′’, yeah, I play basketball, softball and pool, I’m a total pool shark.  I have reddish hair, but not to curly, thank god.  I have green hazel eyes, much lighter than both my mom’s, go figure.  I guess I’m pretty, I hear my dad was tall and handsome, but I’ve only seen pictures.  He died when I was 3 years old, before I got the chance to meet him.  But with the crazy bunch of pseudo relatives I’ve got, I don’t need a dad. Hell, I have more aunt’s than any sane person can shake a stick at, not that I have a stick, mind you…..  Well, a pool stick…  Who came up with that saying anyway?

    2. This story is brilliant! I love the spin of it being told in interludes through Angelica. I so am going to find more of it and if you haven’t got anymore I am going to be waiting oh so impatiently for the next chapter(s).

    3. Hello tjr, that was awesome… yes sometimes the things we want and need in life we have to work hard for. You really are going to make this family work hard for everything. Hmmmm a spy in the midst for Helena… I’m guessing that whole reconciliation thing between Bette and Tina is going to be even more awkward then having just Henry enter the scenario. With Helena… Tina will be very conflicted seeing as though she was the one there for almost the whole pregnancy and so forth… hmmmm… this has so many potentials to drive the sheep crazy… opps did I say sheep wink wink(I’m a TiBetter when it comes to the show but I love this kind of crazy drama) I cannot wait for you to bring it on… cause its ON… Sincerely, JC (oh by the way I got my book… and its beautiful… I’m working out a review for your page :P… and I’m reading that other story you mentioned and will be getting back to you on that… and well I have an Idea involving L and Witchblade… hmmm something about Detective Porter… with a super enhanced magical gauntlet that just sends me into a tizzy… well I’ve bored you enough… talk to you soon)

    5. Love angie being the narrator… of there is gonna be drama and lots of it! i expect nothing less, hehe..okay gonna fasten my selt belt cuz this is gonna be a wild ride…. :)

    7. Liking the story so far, it’s well written. What I don’t understand is why Tina is A.J’s birth mom, or just Mom and Bette is Bette and not Momma or something which makes it seem like Bette is not her other parent.
