Window of Opportunity ch. 14
Window of Opportunity
Chapter 14
Previously:
If you want to come by when you leave, we aren’t going anywhere. If not, I’ll talk to you tonight. T
I think that I may have tuned Alice out when I saw the text message from Tina inviting me over. My heart started racing and my mind became fuddled. I surely didn’t expect this invitation but I wasn’t going to turn it down. I excused myself to the restroom and sent a text back telling Tina that I would be leaving within the hour and would be over. What a perfect ending to a perfect weekend. Finishing up, I walked back to the table and sat as if nothing had happened. I could tell that I was antsy but don’t think that either Alice or Shane picked up on it. We continued talking about nothing in particular and enjoyed our time together. After about 40 minutes, I ordered an iced coffee and told them that I needed to run to take care of some things in preparation for Angie spending the week with me. I hugged both of them close to me then walked over to Kit. I also hugged her and invited her to join me and Angie for dinner on Tuesday. I promised that I would be in touch if anything came up, grabbed my coffee and headed off to see Tina and Angie. We, in this weekend will have spent more time together than we have probably in the last year. I decided not to stop and pick anything up. I truly wanted Tina to be able to come to her decisions without pressures from me. Flowers….candies….hell….expensive jewelry would only be pressure on her and not something that someone who is trying to get back into the good graces of their friend would do. If any romantic overtures occur, they would occur during designated dates. Within minutes I was at her front door. I knocked gently so as not to wake Angie and Tina opened the door with a smile.
“Hey there,” she said as she opened the door and kissed my cheek. “I wasn’t sure about inviting you over but decided to go for it. I hope you didn’t have other plans.”
“I was just probably going to waste the day hanging at The Planet then go home and do some work. I’m glad you asked me over.” I was smiling brightly.

Did not discover these two chapters until after midnight and they were wonderfuly done. Really appreciate your taking you off time to write for us. They are taking things slowly and, thank goodness that Tina wants to be sure of her feelings. Someone needs to be watchful of Shsna I don’t think she will take No for an answer.PPS
Shana is be a trouble maker for tina.love how bette is so much patience and understanding….PPS :)
This has Fatal Attraction written all over it. I hope Shana gets the message and leaves Tina and Angie alone I’d hate for Bette to go Alpha on her a**. PASAYC
