“She’s here, in LA,” Jo Wheaton, the French accented tomboy said in a very deep voice, giving Bette the shivers. Alice cast an odd look at Bette who wasn’t acting much like herself lately. Then again, Alice thought no one was acting like themselves.
It was two days later and they were all gathered in a high tech room at a school on an Island. The school was aptly named, Haven Island Academy, and Jo’s daughter went to school there, or so it seemed.
Alice had creamed her pants when she met Jo. The woman was legendary in the lesbian community for her writing. Alice was trying to convince Jo to write a blog on her web site, The Chart. Jo had yet to agree, but Alice had a sneaky suspicion that the woman might actually do it.
“Is that a holograph?” asked Dana, walking around the floating globe that was in the far corner of the room. Reaching out timidly, she was just as she was about to touch it when someone spoke.
“Touch it and you’ll end up dead,” said the cool voice at the door. “Mom, I’m going to get into some kind of trouble… You know how Nat hates people in her sandbox.”
Dana’s fingers hovered just inches from the glowing globe. She looked up at Jo’s daughter, Spencer, and the steely, blue eyed girl shook her head again making Dana retreat from the alluring glowing globe.
“Relax,” said Jo, waving her hand at her daughter, who in turn rolled her eyes at her mother. “I haven’t had this much fun since…”
“Don’t say it,” said Spencer, crossing her arms. “Please, don’t say it. If you say it, I’m gonna puke and you know I don’t like to puke. Please, mom, I’m begging here. Stop playing detective, those days are long gone…”
“I’m not going to say it. Now, Diana rented a house here,” said Jo, pointing to the map on the large glass table. “These are the blue prints of the house,” said Jo, moving the papers to the table, revealing the very detailed picture of the house. “There are six men, one woman, Di and Jenny.”

I remember this story from way back, but, you have certainly pulled it in another direction in this version. Cracked me up that Helena wore a blue sundress. Bette and Tina are certainly being tempted. Love Alice — too funny! I am glad they got Jenny, but, am concerned about the gunshot. I am very relieved to hear you were not too badly impacted by the flooding. It sounds quite scary. I hope you recover quickly from your illness. Thanks for another great chapter!!

OH JR!!!! YOU ARE BAD!!!! Leaving us hanging there like that!!!! I wonder so bad who died. I know you are not feeling well, so I will let it slide this time. Otherwise you would be in big trouble. Post when you can.

Oh great! Now we have to wait another whole week to see who got shot! Argggh…I hate writers and their cliffies. I hope you’re feeling better soon. I’m from Toronto and have heard about the river and the flooding. I’m just glad that you’re safe. You are right, property can be replaced, but The JadedRose cannot!
ROFLMAO!!!! Damn woman your stuff will always crack me up and leave me on the edge waiting for me. Talk about DYKE DRAMA!!! Did anyone bring the Turkish Oil? ;-) Looked the pics and had sent you an email. Be careful, and get plenty of rest. You’re probably right that you caught something because of everything getting stirred up. Thanks Ro!
This story definitely keeps me on my toes. I know Bette and Tina never can do things the easy way, so I am not giving up. I hope that Dana and Carmen are ok. You big TEASE!!!
