    Le Bandwagon – 6.12

“I am so writing a story about this,” said Alice, taking frantic notes, making Dana roll her eyes.  “This will make the BEST blog ever; no one will ever believe it…”

Dana tossed a look to the young girl by the door, Jo’s daughter, arms crossed over her chest, looking fierce.  The girl returned her gaze, it didn’t soften, but it wasn’t as hard as before either.  Dana saw something of herself in the young girl, as if she wasn’t really comfortable in her skin.

“The rest of us?” asked Bette wanting to be part of the action.  There was a need to be a part of the action, she wanted to feel alive, to be doing something and not sitting at home.

“Stay put, when Di comes looking for Jenny, and she will, we are going to have to have a plan into place to take her down,” said Jo.  Tussling her short, dark blonde hair, Jo thought for a few minutes.  “Do you have anything on her, Marina?”

“Beside the fact that she is forcing me to launder money for the family?” asked Marina with a grunt.  “Nothing.  If I out her for doing that, I lose everything.”

“Then, we’ll have to make something up,” said Jo.  “Spencer, can you get Tegan for me?”

“No,” said Spencer steadfastly.  “Mom, you can’t…”

“I keep thinking I’m the adult here,” sang Jo.  “Spence, please?”

Spencer closed her eyes and then opened them again.  Dana was sure that the girl’s eyes had changed, she waved for Alice to look, but she was too busy scribbling.  Dana rubbed her eyes and moments later a stunningly tall blonde with mesmerizing green eyes walked into the room, “Yeah?”

“Hack me into Home Land Security?” asked Jo with a sweet smile.

“Sure,” said Tegan.  Spencer growled and Tegan reached over and touched her hand, causing Spencer to relax.

“Isn’t that… illegal?” asked Bette.  Marina was standing next to her, shaking slightly.

“Yes, but, they have to catch me,” said Tegan, moving to the computer and beginning to type.  Jo dropped the file on the desk, “Take her passport away.”

    1. I remember this story from way back, but, you have certainly pulled it in another direction in this version. Cracked me up that Helena wore a blue sundress. Bette and Tina are certainly being tempted. Love Alice — too funny! I am glad they got Jenny, but, am concerned about the gunshot. I am very relieved to hear you were not too badly impacted by the flooding. It sounds quite scary. I hope you recover quickly from your illness. Thanks for another great chapter!!

    5. Oh great! Now we have to wait another whole week to see who got shot! Argggh…I hate writers and their cliffies. I hope you’re feeling better soon. I’m from Toronto and have heard about the river and the flooding. I’m just glad that you’re safe. You are right, property can be replaced, but The JadedRose cannot!

    6. ROFLMAO!!!! Damn woman your stuff will always crack me up and leave me on the edge waiting for me. Talk about DYKE DRAMA!!! Did anyone bring the Turkish Oil? ;-) Looked the pics and had sent you an email. Be careful, and get plenty of rest. You’re probably right that you caught something because of everything getting stirred up. Thanks Ro!

    7. This story definitely keeps me on my toes. I know Bette and Tina never can do things the easy way, so I am not giving up. I hope that Dana and Carmen are ok. You big TEASE!!!
