    Jenny’s rescue is at hand — JadedRogue style

     

                “You got it,” said Tegan.

                That’s right folks, you got hackers, you got a plan ,and they are going IN!  They are going to get Jenny! 

     

                While all of THIS was happening…  Tina was simmering and guess who was listening….  Oh yeah, you think that Bette was the only one flirting?  HA!  Guess what?  You’ve stepped into the wrong realm of reality….  Did that make any sense?  While you read, I’m going to play Mario Kart on our Wii…..

                “A rescue mission, like they joined up with IMF while I was at work,” Tina said to Rebecca.  “I swear I’m starting to think that Bette has lost her mind.  She’s acting like a completely different person in the last few weeks.”

     

                Becca laughed.  “Any of them look like Tom Cruise?”

     

                “No, most definitely not.  Instead of calling the authorities, they are hatching a plan, like, in quotes, a PLAN,” said Tina making air quotations, her voice hard and sarcastic.  “I have no idea what is going on with Bette, she’s gone off her rocker.  Not that Bette has ever been in a rocking chair….”

     

                “From what I understand, she was a mover and a shaker, and now she’s relegated to changing a diaper,” said Rebecca taking a bottle of water from the service table.

     

                Tina and Rebecca were having lunch together, it had become a habit over the last month, and Rebecca loved it.  Tina was sweet, sexy and smart; three ‘S’s that Rebecca adored and the fact that Tina was married never even once bothered the actress.

     

                “You rhyme,” smiled Tina.  “I told her to take a class, to relax, to raise our child. What could be more fulfilling than that?” asked Tina.  “It’s what she thought I was going to do before the miscarriage.  Now that the shoe has changed foot, Bette doesn’t like it.”

     

                “I don’t know,” said Rebecca.  “This,” said Rebecca with a wave of her hand as they walked to a table, “…is my dream.  I read these books when I was a kid, I found role models in the pages.  I found people like me and that’s rare for a girl who has known she’s gay since she was 12.”

    1. I remember this story from way back, but, you have certainly pulled it in another direction in this version. Cracked me up that Helena wore a blue sundress. Bette and Tina are certainly being tempted. Love Alice — too funny! I am glad they got Jenny, but, am concerned about the gunshot. I am very relieved to hear you were not too badly impacted by the flooding. It sounds quite scary. I hope you recover quickly from your illness. Thanks for another great chapter!!
