                I’m so sorry I left you guys hanging like that, and for two whole weeks too! 

     

     

     

     

     

     

                I’m not sorry at all!  I’m a queen of drama and I’m straight, so can you imagine what kinna story this would be if I were a lesbian?  Yeah, exactly… all mushy and kissy and ick!  Gross!  Blah! 

     

                So who got shot?  Do you wanna know?  Inquiring minds wanna know?  Right?  Do you really wanna know?  Beg?  Come on, beg?  That’s not working the way I thought it was going too, quit scrolling down to see who it was.  Stop it!

                “I need a trauma room, stat, and get me some blood!  Damn it, move, Leslie!  We’re not going to lose her!” cried out Sabrina as she held the packing to the woman who lay prone on the blood soaked gurney.  “You’re not dying, you’re not dying, you’re not going to…,” pleaded softly to the woman on the gurney.

     

                “What is going on here, Stevens?” called out the ER attending, Dr. Clooney.

     

                “Female, late 20’s, early 30’s…,” began Sabrina.  She felt her hands shaking, emotions battering at her, and tears that were threatening, but she wouldn’t let them spill forth.  Walls, you have walls as a doctor, now use them, Dr. Stevens. This is just another patient, isn’t it?

     

                “I’m not in my 30’s…,” muttered the patient.

     

                “Quit being funny,” threatened Sabrina.  “Gun shot wound from a 9mm, point blank, there seems to be spinal involvement. Loss of…”

     

                “I can’t feel my toes,” said the prone patient.  “That’s bad, isn’t it, Sabrina?”

     

                As they rolled into the trauma room, Clooney caught Sabrina, giving her a harsh glare.  “I don’t know how you picked this one up, outside I’m guessing, but I don’t like grand standing from surgical interns.  Now, go change into your scrubs and I’ll tell McCrane that you’ll be assisting….”

    3. You have my Sam in this one also. It something about her that makes my heart beat a webit,heck a hell’ve lot faster.Enough of Sam Never Bette is not a maid, if Tina wants a babysitter and a maid hire one. she will lose Bette if she keeps on. With Dane willpower,never know what will happen Alice and Lara, I could see the them consoling each other but not sex. Bette was trying to help a friend or friend and she gets a bad a&& chewing from Tina. thanks bvh

    4. JR, yes it was 2 weeks and now you say we alternate between the 2 stories, so 2 weeks wait for each one. Damn it’s a ploy to get us to reread the previous chapter before the new one. Fabulous update….’nuff said!

    5. So much available to comment on…I am so bummed that Dana got shot, but hope that she takes Sam’s advice and goes after her life with gusto no matter what. Looks like both Tina and Bette need to put some serious work into their relationship. As usual, BRAVO!

    6. Great update JR!!! Loved the Australia reference. I never went to watch the Tennis….. TOO HOT!!!! Poor Dana. She is going to be miserable for quite some time, I am sure. SHane marrying!!! WOW. I hope she goes through with it. Post soon.

    7. As a long-term ER fan, I love the doctors who were on-call. ARGH! I was hoping it wouldn’t be Dana. And she is possibly paralyzed? Mark is an enormous prick. I can’t believe he would even think of selling the footage. There has to be a middle point for Bette between housewife and gunplay. Alice and Lara? Argh. On one hand I understand it, but, that is going to crush Dana when she finds out. Hopefully some of what Sam said to Dana sinks in. Thanks for another great chapter!!

    8. Wow there was A LOT going on here. First, Tina is truly well and pissed off by Bette’s involvement isn’t she? I still felt bad for Bette. She has a lot to think about right now. As for Shane asking Carmen to marry her, WOW! That was obviously done in the heat of the moment and out of emotion. Mark, well he was honorable and did the right thing. Let’s hope this begins a road to recovery with his sister. Great stuff Ro! MORE!
