Commander Rau faced her sub-commanders Marina and Carmen and they looked everywhere except her eyes which blazed with anger.
“How is it that the Princess Christina was able to escape the Royal Guard?”
Silence met her inquiry.
“I am waiting” Rau spoke and the dangerous tone of her voice spurred the sub-commanders to respond.
“We did not anticipate resistance” Marina admitted. “The thought that the Princess of Rhemus or her Royal Consort would not welcome our protection did not occur to us.”
While she did not appreciate Marina’s comments she respected her position and ownership of her fault. She turned her gaze to Carmen who she could see was angry with Marina for volunteering this information. Rau’s eyes narrowed. Carmen was more interested in protecting her position than those she was charged to defend.
“We did indeed expect resistance to our control. We engaged the tractor beams when the request to leave orbit was made. The Royal Consort is the daughter of Kirk. Kirk is infamous for trickery and his spawn follows her sire’s path.” Carmen declared scornfully.
“Yes” Rau nodded, seemingly agreeing with Carmen’s assessment. “The Royal Consort is unworthy of the Princess of Rhemus.”
Marina fumed and though she was risking her career she could not stop herself. “With respect Commander, Sub-Commander, it is our duty to protect the Princess and her Consort. We failed in our sworn duty.” She snapped to attention accepting what she surmised would be her immediate dismissal.
Commander Rau turned to Ferrier and the fire in her eyes was awesome. She then regarded Morales.
Morales straightened anticipating her praise and meeting the fire eagerly.
“Morales, you are relieved of your command. You are not fit to serve the Queen of Romulus or the Princess Serena.”
“Commander?” Carmen was confused. “Do you not mean to relieve Ferrier of her command?”
“How dare you question the choice of the Princess of Rhemus? How dare you dishonor your oath?” She flipped open her communicator. “Security to the briefing room.”
Seconds later four security guards flooded the room. “Commander?” The Lead Officer turned to her confused by the summons given the people in the room.

To answer your question: hell, no! Oh dear, the love that dared not speak it’s name is jeopardizing dynasties. Hopefully logic and love will prevail and a satisfactory and non-disruptive solution will be achieved. But that toady, Morales! Got her chain yanked!
K got me a new laptop and actually getting used to it still,lol. I feel for Rhaina because she truley loved Spock and he broke his promise and love to his wife. I do understand her and him, but Spock made his choice and he broke it, so now he must face the stars,,,lol.

Oh yeah, I was writing a story wasn’t I? Okay, just where were those fried synapses located exactly? I’m a little concerned about the effects of nerve damage ;) Funnyone brings up a good point about jeopardizing the dynasties… oh the drama!
I am saddened that Rhaina is hurting. She truly loves Spock, but he has broken her heart and soul. Please help them to over come this situation. Love Christina and Elizabeth’s love for each other, very powerful.
Spock didn’t clear it at all with Rhaina?… uh oh. Not good.

What a bonus…I’ve been sick for a few days and I’m just catching up when I see not one but TWO updates from you Kelika. How great was that! Hmmm…will Rhaina and Spock separate over his infidelity or will Rhaina find a way to live with it. Can’t wait for your next update!
Hmm, Kirk and Spock hooking as a couple on a permanent basis might be too much for the galaxy to take. Thanks for the update. BTW, I’ll never get tired of the visual of Bette wearing a uniform and those black boots. : )

It was a one time event? He stayed loyal to Rhaina for 25 years, breaks his bond to her and then says “hey, sorry for the pain?” I’m thinking Rhaina needs to send Spock to the curb, pronto. Oh I love your story Kelika. But I do smell drama coming on because of Spock not being able to control himself and breaking his vows to Rhaina. I feel so sorry for Qheen Rhaina but I’ll just bet Commander Rau can make her feel so much better if she will allow it. Loved it. Post when you can.

Commander Rau reporting Princess Kelika…yes, I would have made the same decision but sadly because Morales is nice eye-candy to have around. However, love Marina’s accent and other bits like the sexy sassy way she moves. I always thought she was the most naturally sensual of the L Gyrlz. Um, Rhaina is right to send Spock packing. He is certainly used goods now and I couldn’t imagine her with him sexually ever again. Somethings may be forgivable but never forgettable. Such a nasty image for a faithful wife of 25 years is it? So I don’t quite know how u r going to do it but bring on Rau and Rhaina…and a baby for TiBette sometime would be a nice surprise but I guess its way too soon n the scheme of things. Don’t make Morales suffer too hard or too long be4 she earns an opportunity to rehabilitate herself. Loving it. Thx so much.
