The L word: Tina Kennard’s lost background
Paula sits in her big armchair staring at the fire. She holds her temple from both sides concentrating her powers at something. Then she smirked. In this moment Riley walked in to the living room not very pleased.
“They are still running around…”
“Don’t worry I have an idea…” Paula said…
Riley laughs…”Stop that stupid mind game. You know there’s no effect over Christina…”
“Not this time…She’s off balance. Her mind is weak…”
“Maybe hers is weak, but Victoria is there now…”
“What? How she found her?” Paula asked surprised
“Don’t be so surprised Paula. Your girls have very strong connection….”
“One of them is your sister you know that right…” Paula said standing up…
“Unfortunately I do…but that wouldn’t stop me of breaking her neck…” Riley said and walke out, leaving Paula to do what she was doing…
Tina stood in front of the bathroom mirror staring at her reflection. One more day…and still nothing. She closed her eyes and sighs. The color of her eyes had changed again, and she was afraid that there is no time for loosing. The anger was rising more and more and without the balance soon the darkness will absorb her. She had no powers to prevent this and the thought of losing Bette forever was killing her slowly. She exhaled deeply and opened her eyes and gasped of the reflection that was looking at her. Bette’s pale face and empty eyes were hunting her from the other side of the glass…Her clothes were the same she was wearing the day she disappeared…covered in dirt and some blood stains near her heart. She was looking pleadingly at Tina mouthing help me…Tina turns around fast as she could, but Bette’s image was gone…Tina’s heart was beating fast and she was panting from the shock, but came to herself. Suddenly Angie start crying and Tina went to her room. The little girl was wet in tears but seemed fine, no wet dipper or something else to cause her tears. Tina took the baby in her arms and gently starts cradling her. She spotted with her peripheral vision a shadow in the right corner and immediately turned her head in the direction. There she was again. Bette was still glaring at her with her empty eyes. Tina squeezed her eyes, hugging Angie close to her. The little girl couldn’t stop crying….
