Ring Ring Ring 

Tina looked over at her alarm clock to see what time it was, it was 1:30 on a Friday night, and she was just about to fall asleep. She wondered who would be calling this late at night, but when she saw the caller ID, she wasn’t surprised,

“Babe, it’s late,” Tina said while yawning,

“I miss you though,” Bette said pouting; Tina could hear the pouting through the phone.

“Bette, we’ll be seeing each other tomorrow, remember lunch date?” Tina said joking around

“Let me come over,”

“No, Bette it’s late. Besides you live like 30 minutes from here,” Tina tried to reason

“Well I’m already here and I parked the car down the street,” Tina quickly got up confused, and went to her window, she looked out and saw Bette standing in the middle of her yard waving at her with a red rose she knew was picked from her neighbours’ rose garden.

“What the fuckk, what are you doing here?”

“I wanna love you, now let me in,”

Tina sighed, she wasn’t mad that Bette was here, she just didn’t like when Bette showed up unannounced, even though it was cute. One time her and Bette were making love and being as quiet as humanly possible, when Tina’s father walked in on them. It was about 10 at night on a school night and the worst thing was that Tina never told her dad she was into women. She was nervous about how her father would have taken the news. He was pissed that he found his daughter having sex at 17, but he was fine that it was with a woman, as was her mother. From then on Bette was not allowed to sleep over, and whenever she and Bette were in Tina’s room, the door had to be left open.

Tina quietly made her way down the stairs to the front door, Bette used to use the easier way and climb up the tree to the window where Tina would then let her in, but Bette fell from there once and broke her arm, Tina had to wake up her parents and tell them about the incident. Tina got grounded for 2 weeks, and since it was summer she had to stay in all day and night, Bette’s parents grounded her for 3 week and took her car away for a month. Their parents were strict, and that was part of the reason she hated when Bette sneaked over.
