Tina helped Bette unpack her very few belongings. The two did not have much between them since they had a weekend pack with them for the bike ride and a few things that Kit packed up from home. Tina made a mental note that perhaps she could go to the gift shop and purchase some additional comfortable clothing for them. Hopefully, they would not be at the hotel long before they were allowed to go back to Los Angeles to continue Bette’s treatment.

Bette was on the couch watching a movie on the television when Tina left to unpack and when she returned she was fast asleep. Tina thought she might be more comfortable in the bedroom in a big bed, so she walked over to gently stir her brunette beauty.

Tina caressed her arm and ran her fingers through her hair and said “Bette? Baby? Do you want to move to our bedroom?”

Bette slowly stirred from a deep slumber and was trying to orient herself to her current surroundings. Slowly, her eyes came into focus on Tina sitting beside her looking lovingly at her.

Bette said “ I am sorry T, I must have fallen asleep.”

Tina said “Bette don’t worry about that, you need your rest to get better, right? Do you want to go lay down in our bedroom? The bed is bigger and more comfortable in there.”

Bette said “Are you going to lay down with me?”

Tina said “ Sure, I can if you want me to.”

Bette said “ I want you to.”

Tina helped move the two of them to the bedroom. They crawled into bed and pulled the covers up to take a nap. Bette awoke suddenly and shook Tina, while clutching her stomach.  

Bette said “Tina, I don’t feel very good, I think I am going to throw up”.

Tina said “Let me help you to the bathroom”

She started to get up and move to the other side and help Bette, but it was too late, Bette threw up all over the bed. She looked white has a ghost and was still clutching her stomach. 

Bette said “ I am sorry, I am sorry, but I am going to be sick again”.
