    Well, now they know what is giong on. Now what?

    Bette and Tina patiently waited in the emergency room until an attendant came and said that Dr. Miller had admitted Bette to the main hospital. Tina helped gather up their stuff and they were moved to the main building.  Once Bette was checked back into her old wing of the hospital and many people welcomed her back, she settled into a room.

     

    Tina said” Babe, why don’t I go over to the hotel and get us some stuff, some pajama’s and some comfortable clothes and I will order something good to eat take out from the hotel restaurant”.

     

    Bette looked slightly worried and mumbled “OK”.

    Tina said “Bette, I will be back in less than an hour, ok? I will not be that long and you won’t be left here for too long by yourself. Do you want to me to ask Shane to come over and stay with you?”

     

    Bette jumped at the offer and said “Would you?”

     

    Though surprised, Tina said she would ask for Shane to come over. She called her on the phone and Shane agreed to come right over. She asked for a few minutes to get herself together and get over to the hospital.

     

    Tina said “Shane will be over in just a little bit, ok?”

     

    Bette said “But you aren’t going to leave before she gets here, are you?”

     

    Tina was planning to head out and get back as soon as possible, but she could sense that Bette really did not want to be left alone and so she walked over to the bed and said “Of course not baby! I am going to be right here with you until Shane gets here. You can have a visit with your old pal and I will be back before you know it, ok?”

     

    Bette said “Oh, ok…”

     

    Tina frowned and sat next to Bette. She sat down on the bed and Bette turned herself toward Tina and inward.  Tina combed her hands through Bette’s hair and picked up her hand and kissed it. After a few moments she said “You know I love you more than anything, right? We are going to figure out what is going on with you my love, we just have to be patient and let you recover”.
