    Carmen sits back and wonders about Carla.

    Carmen: how could she just leave him.(she says to herself) she sits and thinks about shay for a few minutes then she hears her phone ring. And sees a number she doesn’t recognize.

    Carmen: hello?

    Michelle: hey chick

    Carmen: who is this?!

    Michelle: umm I don’t know maybe your deployed sister who misses you

    Carmen shrieks with excitement

    Michelle: ok if I get a medical discharge because you screamed and I went deaf im going to kick your ass.

    Carmen: oh shut up, how are you, do you need anything how long do we have?

    Michelle: I just got in from a road march so we got a lil bit, im turning on my computer so we can skype

    Carmen: ok

    Michelle: so I just got my mail and I opened and read all of it and now tell me whats going on dude? You got two babies now?

    Carmen: yes, ok I see you on skype im gonna hang up the phone.(hangs up) hey, so yea we have one and one on the way.

    Michelle: damn how long I been gone? You and skinny getting it in like that?

    Carmen: wow….im speechless, but no were in the process of adopting her brother and im pregnant….idiot.

    Michelle: ohhhhh…..where are the babies parents?

    Carmen:  yea, about that…he and shay have the same dad

    Michelle: the douche

    Carmen: yea…that jackass….when the douche started acting up his mom left, he didn’t know where she was and he was living with that man for like two months, then he called shane and that’s how we got shay.

    Michelle: wow, poor baby. How is he?

    Carmen: unbelievably well adjusted, athletic, and ridiculously smart.

    Michelle: aww, he sounds sweet

    Carmen: he is, when do you come home?

    Michelle: well that’s why I called you. Because I need you to use your magic on mami

    Carmen: (sighs) whats going on?

    Michelle: well….my unit got told we have to wait an extra three months before we can get home

    Carmen: are you serious?!!?!?!

    Michelle: look I don’t like it as much as you do but its my job dude

    Carmen: your right, I cant be mad at you, it isnt your fault, ill call mami in a little bit, but im telling you it’ll be better coming from you
