    Michelle: I know it would, but I wrote her a letter but I just cant here her cry today man….we were under fire on our march im just glad to be alive

    Carmen: someone shot at you!!! Who was it ill kill em

    Michelle: Carmen shut up what in the fuck are you gonna do?

    Carmen: I don’t want you hurt, but Im glad your ok

    Michelle: yea, no one got hit it was just crazy

    Carmen: well that’s good.

    Michelle: hey, big juan just signed on im gonna hit him up, ill try to talk to you later.

    Carmen: tell him he needs to call his sister!

    Michelle: got ya, love ya

    Carmen: love you too.

    She hangs up.

    Carmen: that lil girl makes my blood boil, but that’s my little sister I love her.

    She hears the front door open.

    Shane: babe, were home

    Carmen: hey guys. (looking at shay)

    Carmen: shay have you gotten taller?

    Shay: I don’t know

    Shane: I think he has, he’s at my shoulders now

    They eat dinner and talk about their day.  After dinner shay loads the dish washer and goes to his room. Carmen begins to work on some more beats for kits album in the  kitchen and shane watches t.v. in the living room. After about an hour Carmen shuts off her computer.

    Shane: you ok babe?

    Carmen: yea, lets go to bed.

    They head down the hall to shays room. He’s laying across his bed playing xbox and talking on his headset.

    Shay: dude that’s your fault, you gave her your number(laughing)

    Shane: hey goodnite bud

    Carmen: good night sweetheart

    Shay: goodnight

    They head down the hall to their room and begin to pull back the covers.

    Shane: I wonder what the girl dilemma is?

    Carmen: look, as long as he don’t bring any babies home im ok. Im not ready to be anybody abuela right now.

    Shane: you are silly, but I know your serious

    Carmen: im very serious. My mami was about to kill juan when he came home saying that girl was pregnant. But when she saw little juan she loved him.

    Shane: where is his mom?

    Carmen: babe, your guess is as good as mines, she didn’t want to have him but juan said have the baby and give him to me, so she signed over her rights at the hospital, she didn’t even hold him or want to see him.
