It was the afternoon already and Shane was walking alone in a desert beach. She liked to go there whenever she wanted to think.

Today she had woken up in Nataly’s bedroom and by the look of the scene, she had obviusly slept with her last night. At first she was mad, mad and furious, with herself and with the situation. It wasn’t in her plans to sleep with that girl even though she couldn’t avoid it, and while a part of her was hating herself for that, another part said that it was okay, that that was who she really was and the whole Carmen thing was just a charade. It didn’t matter anymore, the harm was already done anyway, and yes, she could lie and say that it didn’t happened like that but she rather be a fucked up than a liar.

The sun was setting and her cellphone rang.

– Hey Al

– Yo Shane, whatcha’ doin’?  you down for a gang meeting?

– I’m a little far right now, don’t think I can make it on time

– Far? Where are you mrs mistery?

– Well, I woke up in Nataly’s beach house a while ago and I’m walking through the waves right now..

-Alice doubted if she should ask or not before doing it anyway- Uhm… Nataly’s house? To be honest I thought you’d be in Carmen’s house, not Nataly’s

– Well, I’m not, so…

– Oh, I thought- I mean- what are you doing with Carmen if you’re going to keep up with that?
