    I just nod my head and start opening the envelope. Greg was right, it was video tape and there was also a letter with it. I hand him the tape and motion for him to put it in the VCR that’s in my office while I open the letters envelope. Let’s see what it says.

You are also to stop everything you are doing to find her. No more media, rewards, police, or anything else you’re up to. Don’t even try to find us or get the authorities involved in this because if you do you’ll never see her again.     “MOTHERFUCKERS!!,” I yell when I finished the letter. Poor Greg just looks at me with a surprise look on his face and says, “What did it say?”

    After I slip the letter in to a clear evidence bag I hand it to him and say, “Turn on the video.”

    Seeing the video is making me want to start breaking everything in sight. First, there’s a newspaper of yesterday’s date on the screen. Then Miss Spencer comes on laying handcuffed naked on the bed with some masked asshole in boxer shorts leering at her. God, she has bruises everywhere. Her ribs are purple. Fuck they’re probably broken. They take a big close up of her face and you can see that she’s unconscious. You can also see more damage. Her eye is swollen shut, her lip is busted and she has bruises on both her cheeks. Then they take a wider angle and you can see the bastard start crawling up the bed. He lays on top of her and you can see he’s starting to kiss her neck when the video goes black.
