Ashley sensed her tense up, “Before you write it off,
it’s a lot of fun there’s a DJ and dancing and I’m not
opposed to getting highly intoxicated before attending,
please don’t make me go alone” she pleaded as she sat
down on Spencer’s bed
“Ash, I don’t know I mean” Spencer started trying to
find the right words “That’s a little too much too
soon” she finally said
“What? How? It’s just like a dance, I don’t want to go
alone I thought you would want to come with your
girlfriend”
“Ash, don’t pull this guilt trip” Spencer replied
sitting down next to Ash
“What are you afraid of?”
“You know what I’m afraid of” Spencer replied back
getting up off the bed
“No I actually have no idea, what was that out there?”
she said pointed towards the living room
“What was what?”
“The kiss you gave me out there, in front of your
friends” she said still pointing
“Okay first of all we’re in my apartment not in public
and two those are my closest friends not some strangers”
she replied getting defensive
“I’m not talking about going out and having sex in the
middle of the dance floor, it would just be nice to be
together there, what happened to the new Spencer that has
confidence and doesn’t care about what other people think
or say, what happened to that girl?”
“That’s not fair Ash, you know that this is all new to
me, I’m not comfortable with displaying my affection
towards you in public like the rest you guys” When the
words left her lips, Spencer wished she could take them back
Ashley flinched as if the words actually hit her,
“Newsflash Spence, you are one of “us” whether you
like it or not”
“Why are you giving me such a hard time with this?”
Spencer asked confused
“When are you going to face reality?” she threw back
“Ouch Ash” she said turning her back to her and folding
her arms across her chest
Ashley sighed, “Look I’m sorry, maybe I should just go,
before I say anything else I’ll regret”
“Yeah, that’s a good idea” Spencer replied still not
facing her
Ashley came up behind her and gave her a hug from behind,
she leaned in and gave Spencer a kiss on the cheek.
Spencer’s fought with all her might not to relax her body
into the brunettes so she stayed rigid and tense. Ashley
leant in to her ear.

Ha! I’m sooo glad Spencer got her revenge on that asshole! Made my day :-) Sorry to hear the story’s nearly over but I’ve enjoyed the ride and will be looking forward to the next chapter(s?) with great anticipation!!
ok wow there was soooo much in this chapter! “like the rest of you guys” ouch spence think before you open your mouth! and then ash’s little heartbreaking speech- yea heartbreaking! ugh i was ready to cry because it was so emotional. hell yea to tanya! love that girl. knows how to talk some sense into people! and of course spence kicking the shit outta matt was freaking hysterical. so sad you’ll be ending this one soon but you know i’ve loved it since the beginning! and i can’t wait for your new stuff, i’m sure it will be just as fantastic! think i’ve rambled long enough lol, pms and have a great holiday!!
