Circles and Circles 2 (Part one of… some) – (Chapter: Never gonna let you go (Part two of… some))
“It’s incredible out there” Spencer finally said, awed.
“Mmm” Ashley wasn’t watching, her mouth was drifting towards Spencer’s neck and she could smell the light perfume her lover used wafting up to meet her. “It’s incredible in here” she hummed, lining up small kisses.
“You have a one track mind” said Spencer, but she turned around, pulling the brunette into her arms and kissing her soundly. “So do I. Let’s go to bed.”
The weather was terrible. The lay in bed the next morning staring out the window, Ashley lazily running her fingers up the inside of Spencer’s arm.
“I can’t believe it’s raining on our weekend away” the blonde sighed, twisting her arm for better access.
“We could stay in bed” Ashley nuzzled her ear.
“We could”, sounded like no argument coming from this corner. Ashley laughed and pulled her into a hug, kissing Spencer on the temple, nose, chin and finally a soft kiss on the mouth.
“Too bad, we’re getting up” Ashley ignored her girlfriend’s pout, but did lean in for another kiss before getting out of bed.
Spencer made them breakfast, since she could actually cook. She was quite happy to stay indoors for the rest of the weekend, still recovering a little from her surgery, although she wasn’t going to admit it to Ash. They spent a quiet but enjoyable morning just being with each other, but Ashley seemed insistent on going out mid afternoon. Despite all protests and grumbles, she dragged Spencer out of the house, bundling her into the car in the rain. Spencer began to get suspicious when she realized that Ashley didn’t actually seem to be taking them anywhere in particular, and after an hour of driving, pulled them off the road to a cliff lookout somewhere up the coast. The weather was beating down, and the sea was wild, turquoise and angry deep blue warring with the furious white froth kicked up by the seemingly endless storm.
“Ash, what are we doing here?” Spencer asked, one eyebrow raised.
“Just taking a drive. Watching the storm. I love storms, they’re so damn powerful.” Ashley stared out the windscreen, leaving the wipers on so they could actually see.

Oh my how sweet. Awwwwwwwww. You should continue this story. Even after part 3. I want to see how they are doing after they get married. If they have children. And where life takes them. This is a great story and needs to be shared with all of us on here.

::sniff!:: Love it! Love the fluff! ::sings:: We love the fluff! Gotta have that fluff!! AWWWWW…:: Sorry. I’m a little out of it. I’m really freaking hungover and I feel like my eardrums have been filled with hot lead. And despite that horrible burning pain, I still loved the fic! Speaking of which, Jesus rode by to say hey. He was happily going to ring his little bell, but due to my current state, I told him that if he even DARED dinging one tiny little ding that I would shove his bell in a very inappropriate location. So he left. In a huff, I might add. I think he went surfing in Kaui…

Oh and on a side note (now that I’m thinking clearly and no longer in horrible pain): You can never be guilty of overposting (and that goes for you, too, bannerman!). You both are simply causing my morning productivity at work to diminish by a startling degree. Luckily, I have a bevy of med students who are completely under my control so I can set them out on a variety of tasks while I bask in the glory of your ficdom. And then feel horribly guilty. :( Actually, no. I’m not that bad. And work’s been really slow, so I’ve enjoyed the distraction. :)
