Everybody's got their something – (Chapter: chapter 6- feels like they are following me)

I finish packing up my things so I can get going and my mom helps me load everything into the car. We head over to glen’s house and he helps me with my bags. His mom was going to take us and it gave us time to talk.

“hey ash” he flashed his smile. He reminded me so much of spencer…

“hey glen you ready to leave this all behind?” he looks around for a little bit and shakes his head

“not really but it’s what I’ve got to do”

We sit back on the coach and just take some time to chill.

    “aiden will be here soon.”

“yeah cool, it’s funny, I always knew we were going to Hawaii just not with aiden…”

    “yeah…I’m sorry.”

“don’t be Spence is doing great, she won’t tell me where she’s going to school, says she just wants to fly under the radar.”

    “you talked to her?”

    “barely…she doesn’t really like talking much…she isn’t herself I can tell. It hurts a little but I respect her so I don’t push…”

“yeah I understand. I just can’t help thinking about how she was supposed to be the third seat you know…I love aiden but it was supposed to be different.”

“trust me I know but we are here now and we all made choices. No changing them now ash…”

    “glen i…”

Just then the door bell rings and glen runs to the door trying to escape this conversation before it got too deep. We always did this, I wanted to know more but glen wouldn’t say much, I knew his loyalty was to spencer and I respected that. I could tell things with them had changed. I heard she was doing better but she cut glen off…I couldn’t really talk to him, all the things he wanted to say and all the things I wanted to ask never came out of our thoughts, and having aiden around didn’t help. Somehow all three of us became this close knit group as awkward as it was. We made it through the past two years with each other, four more couldn’t hurt.

“hey guys you ready to go?”

“I see you calmed down from your freak out moment.” He smiled at me and I just kiss him
