The older blonde’s gray eyes immediately landed on the rock star. Ashley sat in the middle of the couch with her legs crossed and blanket pooling around her hips. Her face was free of emotion as she met her gaze. “You’re looking better.” She commented brightly knowing sleep was the best thing for the rock star. It didn’t surprise her when she walked into the living room and found the teen passed out on the couch. She immediately got a pillow and blanket for her and urged her down into a laying position. ‘Mmm I love you.’ She had mumbled as Paula covered her with the blanket. “How are feeling?”
“Better, thank you.” She looked at Spencer and noticed the wary look on her face. Did Paula mention her little episode?
The older blonde also shifted her gaze to her daughter. “Your father called earlier.” She sighed. “His little trip to the store turned out to be a party opportunity.” Spencer chuckled. “I swear the men in this town.” She groaned. “Always drafting Arthur into their games.” It happened often enough. Arthur would go out, come across someone he knew and end up fishing or hunting. Paula couldn’t stand the phone calls. They were all the same. ‘I’ll be home around 10’ he’d say and not come back until 2. “Well,” She smiled. “On the bright side it’s just us 4 girls for dinner.”
Ashley thought of the fourth girl. Caitlyn. She had yet to make an appearance, it was obvious the 7 year old could sleep, maybe it was her sickness, Ashley reasoned. She was very curious to see the little Carlin. Would she be a smaller version of Spencer? She had to smile a little at the thought. “You should start setting the table.” Paula’s voice snapped her out of her thoughts. She followed her line of vision to Spencer and noticed her lover’s attempt to hide the pout forming over her face. “Being a celebrity doesn’t excuse you from being my little girl who always does what she’s told.” Paula turned and left the room, stifling back a couple of chuckles.
“Ugh,” Spencer groaned glancing over at Ashley. The rock star met her gaze with an amused stare. “you’re helping me.”

Wow! How I have truly missed this. Such an amazing update. I can’t say enough. Love this part of their journey together. I’m glad that Ashley is getting to see that she can be a great person without the drugs. Can’t wait for more. Great writing. Very inspiring.

ashley’s getting along with spencer’s family even if paula and arthur get suspicious every once in a while. i’m glad spence had ashley talk to denny maybe he won’t do any more pot and the scene where he’d said i really think she’d let you do her was hilarous my favorite scene. ash really needs to call brenda and talk to kyla not just text pms
i was late to school cause i started reading at 6:00 am and stilll havnt touched my homework. but luckly getting home to read this motivated me to finish my 5 mile run for track faster

This is such a sweet chapter, thanks for making so long. lol, i love the long chapters. I’m really glad Ashley is deciding to change. These two are so amazing. There’s just a ton of things I’m liking about the story. I love how Paula and Arthur actually like Ashley in this fic. Go figure. Anyway I can’t wait for the next update, i’ll be patient but it won’t be easy. XD
First the smoke blowing: You are an amazing author! I wish you could just knock these posts out every week but I know good things take time and so alas I must wait, thank you though for sharing your talent.Ok, soo interesting, I get the impression that Paula is either A)passive aggressive or B) just really cool with the fact that Ashley and Spencer are seemingly together… Arthur on the other hand seems a little less like he’d be into their relationship…Time will tell I suppose.I love Denny! He’s like a male Ashley…a little more immature but I like him!Also, interesting form of therapy for Ashley…meeting a well adjusted family seems to have helped put a few things into perspective for her. Maybe she needs to stay out of LA, environment is apparently everything…or maybe what Ashley needs to do is turn her actually family into a better one. Hopefully she reconnects with Kyla and her mother, they seem to hold a meaningful soft spot in her heart.PMS PMS PMS
I cannot even tell you how much I loved this update. I took time to read it (3 or 4 days) because I knew it’s gonna take a while for the next update to be posted, so I wanted to savor reading it. I love what you created between Ashley and Spencer…it’s almost something magical. Everytime I read this story I forget everything around me, no lie. (The prologue still worries me, though). I hope Ashley will manage to stay away from the drugs..she’s much better of without them. It probably is gonna take a while, but I hope you’ll update soon-ish. I’m addicted to this story. :P I really am.
I swear i can never get enough of this story… im waiting for something bad to happen though, things are a little too perfect for the girls… o and i cant wait for Spence and Denny to come out to each other
