“Ashley!” The rock star’s arms unconsciously dropped down to pat the girl’s upper back as she hugged her legs. She didn’t have time to ponder on it as she stared into dark green eyes. The boy that stood before her was around her age, very tall, 6’1 or 2 Ashley guessed as she stared at his long brown hair, black hoodie and black jeans. Converse covered his long feet. His style was very similar to hers, she had a feeling he liked her, guessed he was a fan of her music by the way his jaw dropped. The look was very common in teens she’d come across. A mixture of awe and excitement, Ashley enjoyed putting it there.
“You can’t be serious.” Denny finally spoke looking down at Spencer. “You…you brought home Ashley Davies?”
Spencer chuckled and nodded. “I forgot you were a big fan. Sorry I didn’t tell you earlier.”
“I’m going to grab some water.” Ashley chimed in and then looked down at Caitlyn. “Wanna help me?” The little girl eagerly nodded. “Good.” Her hand was grabbed by both of Caitlyn’s as she pulled the rock star towards the staircase. Ashley chuckled, looking up at Denny as she passed, she offered him her hand. “It’s nice to meet you….”
“Denny.” He nervously filled in taking her free hand with both of his. “And it’s a honor meeting you.” He added with a slight stutter. “You’re coming back right.”
Spencer swatted playfully at his hands, watching them drop, she smiled up at him. “She’ll never leave with your giant paws holding her back.”
“Come on Ashley. I wanna show you my room also.” Caitlyn whined.
“Alright, alright. Lead the way. Cool meeting you Denny,” She looked back at Spencer. “Another Carlin has got me whipped.” She joked before being dragged away by a very determined Caitlyn.
“Dude, Ashley Davies is in our house. How sick is that?” He asked his cousin.
“Very.” Spencer yawned covering her mouth. “Sorry.” She said dropping her hand. “I’m tired.”
“Take a nap.” Denny suggested sitting on the arm of the couch.
Spencer shook her head. “I just took one. I’ll be fine after a can of coke.” She reasoned with a smile.

Wow! How I have truly missed this. Such an amazing update. I can’t say enough. Love this part of their journey together. I’m glad that Ashley is getting to see that she can be a great person without the drugs. Can’t wait for more. Great writing. Very inspiring.

ashley’s getting along with spencer’s family even if paula and arthur get suspicious every once in a while. i’m glad spence had ashley talk to denny maybe he won’t do any more pot and the scene where he’d said i really think she’d let you do her was hilarous my favorite scene. ash really needs to call brenda and talk to kyla not just text pms
i was late to school cause i started reading at 6:00 am and stilll havnt touched my homework. but luckly getting home to read this motivated me to finish my 5 mile run for track faster

This is such a sweet chapter, thanks for making so long. lol, i love the long chapters. I’m really glad Ashley is deciding to change. These two are so amazing. There’s just a ton of things I’m liking about the story. I love how Paula and Arthur actually like Ashley in this fic. Go figure. Anyway I can’t wait for the next update, i’ll be patient but it won’t be easy. XD
First the smoke blowing: You are an amazing author! I wish you could just knock these posts out every week but I know good things take time and so alas I must wait, thank you though for sharing your talent.Ok, soo interesting, I get the impression that Paula is either A)passive aggressive or B) just really cool with the fact that Ashley and Spencer are seemingly together… Arthur on the other hand seems a little less like he’d be into their relationship…Time will tell I suppose.I love Denny! He’s like a male Ashley…a little more immature but I like him!Also, interesting form of therapy for Ashley…meeting a well adjusted family seems to have helped put a few things into perspective for her. Maybe she needs to stay out of LA, environment is apparently everything…or maybe what Ashley needs to do is turn her actually family into a better one. Hopefully she reconnects with Kyla and her mother, they seem to hold a meaningful soft spot in her heart.PMS PMS PMS
I cannot even tell you how much I loved this update. I took time to read it (3 or 4 days) because I knew it’s gonna take a while for the next update to be posted, so I wanted to savor reading it. I love what you created between Ashley and Spencer…it’s almost something magical. Everytime I read this story I forget everything around me, no lie. (The prologue still worries me, though). I hope Ashley will manage to stay away from the drugs..she’s much better of without them. It probably is gonna take a while, but I hope you’ll update soon-ish. I’m addicted to this story. :P I really am.
I swear i can never get enough of this story… im waiting for something bad to happen though, things are a little too perfect for the girls… o and i cant wait for Spence and Denny to come out to each other
