Ashley pursed her lips in thought. “You know what Denny…..I think so too.”
*~*~*~*~
The room was pitch black as she lied on her back, her head was turned and eyes glued to the wall. There were no windows, being in the basement, but Ashley didn’t mind. The moon wasn’t anything special, she could go a few nights without it’s shining light. Spencer was a different story. Lying in the dark, her mind was far from being at ease as it yearned for her lover. The thought of wrapping her arms around her girlfriend’s sleeping frame, caressing, kissing, whispering to her as she slept peacefully in her arms- it was all bliss. The idea of it kept Ashley awake, kept her heavy eyelids from closing, it drove the rock star to rolling out of bed and leaving the room.
She intended on getting a glass of water from the kitchen, but then her eyes fell on the staircase and her feet moved on their own accord. She walked silently up each step and stayed quit throughout her journey upstairs. The door made a sound as she pushed it open. She caught a glimpse of her girlfriend sitting up as she pushed it closed behind her. “I can’t sleep.” She whispered seeing the questioning look on Spencer’s face. “I’ve been dying to see you and waiting til morning to do so is torture.” She smiled shyly. “Is that crazy?”
“If it is then we’re both insane.” She smiled softly relaxing against the hundreds of pillows behind her. “I haven’t been able to sleep either because of a certain someone.” She watched Ashley lean against the door and decided she’d be more comfortable with her on the bed. “Come here and I’ll tell you about her.”
Ashley willingly obeyed and climbed on the bed with her girlfriend. Spencer welcomed her with open arms, she collapsed in them, feeling their bodies pressed tightly together, Ashley gazed into gray eyes with desire pooling in hers. “It sounds like you really like this someone. Does she like you back?”
“I hear she’s in love with me.”
Ashley leaned forward and brought their foreheads together, her eyes gazing playfully into Spencer’s. “I feel bad for her then.”

Wow! How I have truly missed this. Such an amazing update. I can’t say enough. Love this part of their journey together. I’m glad that Ashley is getting to see that she can be a great person without the drugs. Can’t wait for more. Great writing. Very inspiring.

ashley’s getting along with spencer’s family even if paula and arthur get suspicious every once in a while. i’m glad spence had ashley talk to denny maybe he won’t do any more pot and the scene where he’d said i really think she’d let you do her was hilarous my favorite scene. ash really needs to call brenda and talk to kyla not just text pms
i was late to school cause i started reading at 6:00 am and stilll havnt touched my homework. but luckly getting home to read this motivated me to finish my 5 mile run for track faster

This is such a sweet chapter, thanks for making so long. lol, i love the long chapters. I’m really glad Ashley is deciding to change. These two are so amazing. There’s just a ton of things I’m liking about the story. I love how Paula and Arthur actually like Ashley in this fic. Go figure. Anyway I can’t wait for the next update, i’ll be patient but it won’t be easy. XD
First the smoke blowing: You are an amazing author! I wish you could just knock these posts out every week but I know good things take time and so alas I must wait, thank you though for sharing your talent.Ok, soo interesting, I get the impression that Paula is either A)passive aggressive or B) just really cool with the fact that Ashley and Spencer are seemingly together… Arthur on the other hand seems a little less like he’d be into their relationship…Time will tell I suppose.I love Denny! He’s like a male Ashley…a little more immature but I like him!Also, interesting form of therapy for Ashley…meeting a well adjusted family seems to have helped put a few things into perspective for her. Maybe she needs to stay out of LA, environment is apparently everything…or maybe what Ashley needs to do is turn her actually family into a better one. Hopefully she reconnects with Kyla and her mother, they seem to hold a meaningful soft spot in her heart.PMS PMS PMS
I cannot even tell you how much I loved this update. I took time to read it (3 or 4 days) because I knew it’s gonna take a while for the next update to be posted, so I wanted to savor reading it. I love what you created between Ashley and Spencer…it’s almost something magical. Everytime I read this story I forget everything around me, no lie. (The prologue still worries me, though). I hope Ashley will manage to stay away from the drugs..she’s much better of without them. It probably is gonna take a while, but I hope you’ll update soon-ish. I’m addicted to this story. :P I really am.
I swear i can never get enough of this story… im waiting for something bad to happen though, things are a little too perfect for the girls… o and i cant wait for Spence and Denny to come out to each other
