Spencer held her as she continued to shudder, kissing her lips, cheeks, and forehead, she buried her face in Ashley’s neck and closed her eyes, listening to her lover’s heavy breathing, she lightly kissed along her collar bones, up her neck and around her jaw. “I love you,” She kissed her chin and then brought her hand up, pushing strays of hair out of her face, she gazed down into tired brown eyes with a smile. The smile died when she heard knocking on the door.
“Spencer? Is everything alright?” Her mother asked.
“Everything’s fine. Ashley just had a nightmare.” She casually answered.
“Oh….Ashley’s in there.” She heard her mother murmur. “Okay sweetheart. Goodnight you two.”
“Night.” They answered in unison.
“She…,” Ashley’s yawn cut her off. “Totally knows what we’re doing.” She stated quietly.
“It doesn’t matter.” Spencer kissed her gently. “I don’t care anymore. If they figure it out, they figure out.” She ran her finger along damp auburn bangs. “They can’t take you away from me.” She kissed her again. “You have my heart.” Spencer laid her head on her chest and closed her eyes feeling Ashely soothingly stroke her hair.
Feeling exhausted, she slipped her hand out of Ashley’s jeans and snuggled deeper against her. “I love you Spencer.”
The whispered words were the last thing she heard before falling into a blissful sleep.

Birds, chirping, sun- Spencer groaned as she turned her head away from the sunlight. Waking up was the last thing she wanted to do, she thought feeling around for her girlfriend. The blonde sighed as her eyes opened. Ashley was nowhere to be seen. “Why can’t she just stay with me?” She yawned stretching in bed. Her arms immediately flew down to cradle her stomach as she whimpered. She had started her period the day before and was just now experiencing lower abdominal pain. The cramps were bad, she felt close to tears as she rolled out of bed and headed into the bathroom.
She took a quick shower then went back to her room, downed a couple Ibuprofen tablets, got dressed and then left. Her thoughts were on Ashley and how nice it would have been to wake up next to her. Spencer didn’t dwell on it long, she just planned on holding the rock star a little tighter next time they fell asleep.

Wow! How I have truly missed this. Such an amazing update. I can’t say enough. Love this part of their journey together. I’m glad that Ashley is getting to see that she can be a great person without the drugs. Can’t wait for more. Great writing. Very inspiring.

ashley’s getting along with spencer’s family even if paula and arthur get suspicious every once in a while. i’m glad spence had ashley talk to denny maybe he won’t do any more pot and the scene where he’d said i really think she’d let you do her was hilarous my favorite scene. ash really needs to call brenda and talk to kyla not just text pms
i was late to school cause i started reading at 6:00 am and stilll havnt touched my homework. but luckly getting home to read this motivated me to finish my 5 mile run for track faster

This is such a sweet chapter, thanks for making so long. lol, i love the long chapters. I’m really glad Ashley is deciding to change. These two are so amazing. There’s just a ton of things I’m liking about the story. I love how Paula and Arthur actually like Ashley in this fic. Go figure. Anyway I can’t wait for the next update, i’ll be patient but it won’t be easy. XD
First the smoke blowing: You are an amazing author! I wish you could just knock these posts out every week but I know good things take time and so alas I must wait, thank you though for sharing your talent.Ok, soo interesting, I get the impression that Paula is either A)passive aggressive or B) just really cool with the fact that Ashley and Spencer are seemingly together… Arthur on the other hand seems a little less like he’d be into their relationship…Time will tell I suppose.I love Denny! He’s like a male Ashley…a little more immature but I like him!Also, interesting form of therapy for Ashley…meeting a well adjusted family seems to have helped put a few things into perspective for her. Maybe she needs to stay out of LA, environment is apparently everything…or maybe what Ashley needs to do is turn her actually family into a better one. Hopefully she reconnects with Kyla and her mother, they seem to hold a meaningful soft spot in her heart.PMS PMS PMS
I cannot even tell you how much I loved this update. I took time to read it (3 or 4 days) because I knew it’s gonna take a while for the next update to be posted, so I wanted to savor reading it. I love what you created between Ashley and Spencer…it’s almost something magical. Everytime I read this story I forget everything around me, no lie. (The prologue still worries me, though). I hope Ashley will manage to stay away from the drugs..she’s much better of without them. It probably is gonna take a while, but I hope you’ll update soon-ish. I’m addicted to this story. :P I really am.
I swear i can never get enough of this story… im waiting for something bad to happen though, things are a little too perfect for the girls… o and i cant wait for Spence and Denny to come out to each other
