    “I’ll be fine.”

    Spencer sat quietly beside her girlfriend scanning the CD’s on the page. Her eyes stared but didn’t see anything, her attention was solely on Ashley, everything else was out of focus and mattered little to her. The way she ended the phone conversation with Samantha was disturbing, “I love you too’ the words played in her mind. They shouldn’t have bothered her but they did. How much did Ashley love her? They were obviously close, Ashley only used those words for her, Spencer hated that another girl got to hear them. She knew she was being ridiculous but she felt she had a good reason. Her girlfriend was telling another woman she loved her- and not just any woman. It was Samantha Richmond. Ashley’s favorite fuck buddy.

    Ashley turned her phone off and threw it in the back seat. She didn’t want to talk to anybody. A half hour out in the real world and she was already missing being alone with Spencer, away from the rest of the world, in their suite. Her thoughts fast forward to the future and she thought about her life in LA. It wouldn’t be the same with Spencer, there will be no more nights filled with drugs and sex, all the dark hours would be spent in bed with Spencer. The thought made her smile, it was a real genuine smile that she couldn’t stop, she wanted to share it with Spencer, show the blonde how happy she made her. The smile faded when she caught sight of her lover. The blonde stared out the window, her posture was alarming, it went well with the tense air around them. “What’s wrong?” She asked breaking the silence.

    The blonde turned her head and met concerned brown eyes. They only stared into hers for a second and then shifted back to the road. Spencer didn’t know how to answer the question. What’s wrong. She felt a million things were wrong but the truth was Samantha was her only real problem. Did Ashley have feelings for her? The thought alone was painful, it scared Spencer. “I want to understand your relationship with Samantha.” Her voice was calm with no anger, if anything, it sounded curious to the rock star.

    2. Wow! How I have truly missed this. Such an amazing update. I can’t say enough. Love this part of their journey together. I’m glad that Ashley is getting to see that she can be a great person without the drugs. Can’t wait for more. Great writing. Very inspiring.

    5. ashley’s getting along with spencer’s family even if paula and arthur get suspicious every once in a while. i’m glad spence had ashley talk to denny maybe he won’t do any more pot and the scene where he’d said i really think she’d let you do her was hilarous my favorite scene. ash really needs to call brenda and talk to kyla not just text pms

    6. i was late to school cause i started reading at 6:00 am and stilll havnt touched my homework. but luckly getting home to read this motivated me to finish my 5 mile run for track faster

    11. This is such a sweet chapter, thanks for making so long. lol, i love the long chapters. I’m really glad Ashley is deciding to change. These two are so amazing. There’s just a ton of things I’m liking about the story. I love how Paula and Arthur actually like Ashley in this fic. Go figure. Anyway I can’t wait for the next update, i’ll be patient but it won’t be easy. XD

I wish you could just knock these posts out every week but I know good things take time and so alas I must wait, thank you though for sharing your talent.Ok, soo interesting, I get the impression that Paula is either A)passive aggressive or B) just really cool with the fact that Ashley and Spencer are seemingly together… Arthur on the other hand seems a little less like he’d be into their relationship…Time will tell I suppose.I love Denny! He’s like a male Ashley…a little more immature but I like him!Also, interesting form of therapy for Ashley…meeting a well adjusted family seems to have helped put a few things into perspective for her. Maybe she needs to stay out of LA, environment is apparently everything…or maybe what Ashley needs to do is turn her actually family into a better one. Hopefully she reconnects with Kyla and her mother, they seem to hold a meaningful soft spot in her heart.PMS PMS PMS

    13. I cannot even tell you how much I loved this update. I took time to read it (3 or 4 days) because I knew it’s gonna take a while for the next update to be posted, so I wanted to savor reading it. I love what you created between Ashley and Spencer…it’s almost something magical. Everytime I read this story I forget everything around me, no lie. (The prologue still worries me, though). I hope Ashley will manage to stay away from the drugs..she’s much better of without them. It probably is gonna take a while, but I hope you’ll update soon-ish. I’m addicted to this story. :P I really am.

    14. I swear i can never get enough of this story… im waiting for something bad to happen though, things are a little too perfect for the girls… o and i cant wait for Spence and Denny to come out to each other
