    Young hearts be free tonight.

    Spencer’s eyes roamed her girlfriend’s body and she found herself wanting to embrace her slender form. Ashley wore tight blue jeans, black slip on’s and a band T shirt covered by a black canvas jacket. It all hugged her lean form comfortably. “Come here.” Spencer threw all caution out the window and wrapped her arms around the rock star. Ashley was surprised but easily melted into the embrace. “What is this for?” She asked against her shoulder. Spencer held her tighter. “I just want to hold you.” Ashley chuckled near her ear. “Is that all you want to do to me?” She purred missing the sound of the front door opening.

    Paula Carlin stood on the porch staring down at the two teens. She had walked out of the house with a wide smile at seeing her daughter. It faltered when Spencer pulled the smaller girl into her arms. The older blonde all of a sudden felt uncomfortable watching them. The look on Spencer’s face at the moment was nothing less of pure bliss. Her eyes were closed and lips tilted into a dreamy smile as she melted against the rock star. She couldn’t see the other girl’s facial expression, Ashley’s back was to her, but the way she allowed Spencer to hold her was disturbing. “Spencer.” She called out awkwardly, her footsteps echoing as she walked down the porch steps.

    The excitement in Spencer’s eyes was contagious. Paula found herself pulling her daughter from the rock star’s arms and holding her close. “I’ve missed you Honey.” She said while rocking her little girl. She couldn’t have been happier. Spencer was back home and safely in her arms. “I’ve missed you too, Mom.” Spencer chuckled and pulled back. She had forgotten how emotional her mother was and was reminded when she caught sight of her happy eyes and tears. “Don’t cry, there’s someone I want you to meet. Mom this is Ashley.”

    Ashley Davies, right there in her front yard, it was bizarre. She stood casually in front of them with her hands tucked in her jacket pockets. Her posture was cool but Paula could see it in her eyes. The girl was ready to flee. She threw the idea of shaking her hand out the window and pulled her into a hug. She could feel the teen’s muscles tense up immediately but that didn’t stop her from holding the troubled teen. She had heard so much about Ashley, some bad some good, and couldn’t help but compare her to her twin sister Sherry. The thought made her squeeze harder. “It’s nice to meet you Ashley.” She pulled back and released the bundle of taunt muscles. “I’ve heard so much about you.”

    2. Wow! How I have truly missed this. Such an amazing update. I can’t say enough. Love this part of their journey together. I’m glad that Ashley is getting to see that she can be a great person without the drugs. Can’t wait for more. Great writing. Very inspiring.

    5. ashley’s getting along with spencer’s family even if paula and arthur get suspicious every once in a while. i’m glad spence had ashley talk to denny maybe he won’t do any more pot and the scene where he’d said i really think she’d let you do her was hilarous my favorite scene. ash really needs to call brenda and talk to kyla not just text pms

    6. i was late to school cause i started reading at 6:00 am and stilll havnt touched my homework. but luckly getting home to read this motivated me to finish my 5 mile run for track faster

    11. This is such a sweet chapter, thanks for making so long. lol, i love the long chapters. I’m really glad Ashley is deciding to change. These two are so amazing. There’s just a ton of things I’m liking about the story. I love how Paula and Arthur actually like Ashley in this fic. Go figure. Anyway I can’t wait for the next update, i’ll be patient but it won’t be easy. XD

    12. First the smoke blowing: You are an amazing author! I wish you could just knock these posts out every week but I know good things take time and so alas I must wait, thank you though for sharing your talent.Ok, soo interesting, I get the impression that Paula is either A)passive aggressive or B) just really cool with the fact that Ashley and Spencer are seemingly together… Arthur on the other hand seems a little less like he’d be into their relationship…Time will tell I suppose.I love Denny! He’s like a male Ashley…a little more immature but I like him!Also, interesting form of therapy for Ashley…meeting a well adjusted family seems to have helped put a few things into perspective for her. Maybe she needs to stay out of LA, environment is apparently everything…or maybe what Ashley needs to do is turn her actually family into a better one. Hopefully she reconnects with Kyla and her mother, they seem to hold a meaningful soft spot in her heart.PMS PMS PMS

    13. I cannot even tell you how much I loved this update. I took time to read it (3 or 4 days) because I knew it’s gonna take a while for the next update to be posted, so I wanted to savor reading it. I love what you created between Ashley and Spencer…it’s almost something magical. Everytime I read this story I forget everything around me, no lie. (The prologue still worries me, though). I hope Ashley will manage to stay away from the drugs..she’s much better of without them. It probably is gonna take a while, but I hope you’ll update soon-ish. I’m addicted to this story. :P I really am.

    14. I swear i can never get enough of this story… im waiting for something bad to happen though, things are a little too perfect for the girls… o and i cant wait for Spence and Denny to come out to each other
