    The road to recovery…er…or destruction?

     

     Ashley didn’t hesitate answering. “I’m done Spencer. It’s just getting way too out of control.” She held up her arm. “Look at this. I couldn’t even feel any of it,” She stared at the light red cuts. “and that scares the shit out of me. I feel like I’m slowly slipping away from reality, and you. And I don’t want that to happen. I love you Spencer.” She met her gaze again feeling extremely nervous. Ashley Davies was not one to speak her emotions but when your on the verge of losing the ability to feel them, you get desperate.

     

    Spencer smiled, and it seemed real, It was real, and that relieved Ashley. “Then I will help you, Ashley. But it’s not going to be easy.” Grey eyes lowered and landed on her arm. “Come on, let me wrap that up for you again.”

     

    Ashley silently stood up and took a seat on the bed, watching Spencer retrieve the first aid kit.

    Ashley opened the door and stepped out with Spencer following behind. The bus pulled to a stop and she assumed they were at a hotel. Brown eyes met surprised blue and she internally groaned when Glen put down his magazine and stood up from the couch. “What the hell happened to you?” He asked taking her arm.

     

    “Fuck.” Ashley hissed quickly pulling her arm out of his grasp. “That hurt.” She snapped.

     

    “Sorry.” Glen looked over at Spencer. She was standing at Ashley’s side now. “What happened to her?”

     

    Ashley answered before Spencer had a chance to open her mouth. “Nothing. It’s not important.”

     

    “I beg to differ.”

     

    Ashley looked over Glen’s shoulder and met Madison’s eyes. She was sitting at the booth, laptop in front of her, staring amusingly at the scene. “Good morning.” Ashley greeted, feeling slightly nervous. She had no idea how she was going to explain her arm to the reporter. “Sleep well?”

     

    Madison moved her head from side to side. “I have a slight pain in my neck but other than that, I slept okay.” She looked over at Spencer. “And how did you sleep?” Her eye brow raised a little. “Does Ms. Davies make a good roommate?”

    7. HOLY SHIT DUDE!!! I can’t believe Ashley. You know, I just started to notice that this story is kinda like the movie GIA. You know how Gia (Angelina Jolie) was sooo hooked on drugs that in one scene, Linda (Elizabeth Mitchell) asked Gia to decide what she wanted more, HER of THE DRUGS???? And if you have seen that movie, you know what she chooses!!!!! I hope Ashley will go to rehab and change her ways because she will loose Spencer and all of her FAME!!!! PMS and LOVE THIS STORY!!!!!! GREAT UPDATE!!!!

The only thing that can be said that even comes remotely close is that it is profoundly heartbreaking…perfectly put dallas1111. I have been on all the fanfiction sites and I haven’t read anything like this. I am surprised you don’t post this on spashley.com where you will find the ferrarri’s of all fanfiction writers…you cannot comprehend the amount of love that they will shower you with and they know talent when they see it. i cannot wait for you to post more soon and i know that is asking a lot because this was a 30-sumthing page update but i cannot get enough of you. you’re my cocaine!! Seriously though you are just oozing with talent…so much so that i just tried to type a really long comment exactly the same because it didn’t seem to go through. :0)

    31. This last paragraph summed up Spencer’s overwhelmed and broken heart…Time stilled for her as she walked back across the room. She stopped near Ashley and dropped the bag on the floor. She didn’t want to see anything passed that. Instead, she turned back around and grabbed her robe off the floor. She slipped it on and walked out of the door, leaving Ashley with the one thing she loved the most, cocaine. – Everyone needs a girlfriend like Spencer, so understanding, loving, attentive, faithful and forgiving. However, love cannot be one-sided and even though I believe Ashley loves Spencer she loves cocaine more. I believe Spencer did the right thing by walking away, sometimes you have to let go of the things you love the most in order for them to be healing. Ashley needs to hit rock bottom and truly desire to change before she can find freedom from the drugs and alcohol. Until she gets help Spencer will not fall into Ashley’s arms again. This is profoundly moving and heartbreaking story that leaves me wanting more. Thank you for spending so much time writing this very long and amazing update. PMS

Not only that but I would like to see something happen to Pops as well. He has a 17yr old daughter on drugs and has done jack shit about it for how many years now?!?! To have a father who so clearly doesn’t give a shit about his daughter would be truly heart breaking! He gives Ash shit about not caring about the band – he needs to get his prorities sourted, I could imagine Spencer giving him a hard time about it like she did before but only 1000 times worse. Poor Spencer, she’s going to have to be really strong if her and Ash’s relationship is going to pull through and really it’s not going to happen while Ash is still on tour – she needs to go to Rehab, there aren’t many people out there who can get off coke cold turkey!
