"Nice to meet you." Spencer couldn’t help but stare, confused as Ashley spoke.

"Is something wrong?" Said Ashley, releasing the handshake.

"No, I just, nothing." Blushing, Spencer followed Aiden around and sat next to him on the other side of the booth the group occupied.

At the end of the night Spencer still couldn’t figure out what it was about Ashley that was so interesting. Here she was, on a date with probably the hottest guy she had ever seen, but there was nothing between them. She made up her mind to find out more about Ashley when Aiden drove her home.

"So, Ashley, have you and she been friends long?" Said Spencer, trying not to sound too overly interested.

"Since we were kids. Why?"

"Just curious. What is she like?

"Nice girl, but she can be a bitch at times. Did she say something to you?"

"No, no, nothing like that. There is just something about her."

"Tell me about it," said Aiden shaking his head. "Sometimes it feels like she is going to burn a hole through you with her eyes. But she’s harmless, I promise."

Spencer decided to leave it at that. This was all so strange and confusing. She just kept thinking, hot guy in the car, keep your mind on the hot guy in the car with you.

They finally pulled into Spencer’s driveway, and she made sure to make a quick exit from the car. Pausing only to thank Aiden for taking her to the club. She ran up the stairs and immediately logged onto facebook, hoping to find out a little more about this Ashley Davies.

Spencer’s heart was beating faster now. Maybe that was it. She never knew anyone who was gay before. That must be why she felt so strange around Ashley. But why was it so intense when she touched her? She should have felt that way about touching Aiden.

Spencer decided to go to bed. This was all too much to think about right now. Just before logging off, she decided at the last minute to add Ashley to her friends list. At least that way, maybe she could discover more tomorrow.
