The night came to an end. The crowd loved the song so much that Ashley was going to put the song on her upcoming album. And she wanted Jorey to record the song with her. The four of them said their goodbyes and headed their separate ways. Jorey and Madison headed back to Indiana. Jorey had her big game tomorrow. Suddenly her cell phone began to ring as they were a over half way home.

“Hello? Really? Now? You’re sure? All right I’ll head over that way.” Jorey hung up the phone.

“Who was that?”

“A surprise.”

“For who?” Madison had a smirk across her face.

“You, actually. So we’re going to take a detour.” Jorey took hold of Madison’s hand, “I just hope that you like it.”

Jorey drove for another 30 minutes and they were in the neighborhood of their new home. She pulled into the drive and Madison couldn’t help but ponder, “Why are we here?”

“It’s part of the surprise.” Jorey put the car in park, turned off the engine, and got out of the car, “Come on, I’ll show you.”

Jorey walked up to the front door and slid in her key. The door swung open and she turned on the lights. Madison’s face lit up. The house was done. It was completely done and ready for them to move into. Jorey couldn’t help but notice how excited Madison looked, “Are you ready to spend the first night in ‘our’ new place?”

“Really?! We can stay here tonight?!”

Jorey smiled, walked up behind Madison and wrapped her arms around her waist, “While we were in Ohio I called some movers and had them move in all the stuff from my other house. And I also had all of your stuff from L.A. flown in last week and its all here.”

Madison turned around and wrapped her arms around Jorey’s neck, “You are wonderful.” She passionately kissed Jorey. “Now, I’m going to go check out ‘our’ new house.” Madison was smiling ear to ear.

Jorey couldn’t help but fall farther and farther in love with Madison every time she saw Madison smile. After she was done watching Madison rushing through the house like a giddy school girl she followed suit and ran after her. Life seemed to be coming together.
