“How’d you end up in Indiana anyways? Last time I spoke to Jorey she was upset and scared that you were going to stay in L.A.”

“She called you?”

“Yeah, she was upset and couldn’t sleep the night before she caught her flight to Indy.”

“Oh. Well, I ended up packing as much of my stuff as I could, ran to the airport in a complete frenzy, and I managed to get to her in time to get on the flight with her.”

“That’s kind of ironic. I mean, five years ago you didn’t make it to the airport in time to stop her from leaving. And now, five years later. It’s like a rerun.”

Madison laughed, “Running through that airport felt like a rerun. I was just hoping that it wouldn’t have the same ending.”

They could hear the opening band finishing up.

“Everyone ready for the show?” Ashley and Jorey came walking up behind Madison and Spencer.

“I’m ready as always.” Spencer nodded.

“That’s my girl.” Ashley gave Spencer a quick kiss.

Jorey looked at Madison, “We’d better go take our seats.”

Madison took Jorey’s hand, “Lead the way.”

Madison and Jorey made their way to the front row. They were soon joined by Spencer. Ashley took the stage just as she always did. The crowd went wild just as they did in Los Angeles. Ashley tried to mix the songs up as best as she could each time she performed. It made it more interesting. She played several songs and then came her request for Jorey to take the stage with her.

“Tonight, a friend of mine came to see the show. She’s sitting down here in the front row. She’s a women’s professional basketball player. When she got here I asked her to perform a song with me. So I’m going to ask her to come up on stage, take this guitar sitting beside me and let’s do the damn thing!”

Jorey quickly ran up on stage, picked up the guitar, and sat down on the stool that was sitting beside Ashley. Ashley decided to take the time to talk about the song, “Now, when I wrote this song I knew the love of my life. But we weren’t together. I was fighting a lot of emotions and problems. I never told her about this song. But it’s about her. It’s called If I Lose It All. And I’m debuting it right here tonight. Here it goes.”
