    Lazy, lazy, lazy.

    “What?” she asked.

    “Nothing.”

    “Come on, tell me.”

    “There’s nothing to tell, really,” I said.

    “Is there something on my face?” she questioned, and I couldn’t help but giggle a little.

    “No, Ash. Honestly, I don’t have anything to tell you.”

    “You’re so strange,” she replied as she shook her head, smiling, and resumed listening to music. I grinned and put my book down before scooting over to her.

    “What are you listening to?”

    “What?” she asked as she removed an ear bud once again.

    “I said, what are you listening to?”

    “Oh… Lauryn Hill,” she replied.

    “I didn’t know you liked rap.”

    “I listen to some, but she’s not really rap… I mean, she can rap, really well actually, and she does sometimes, but she has an amazing voice,” she explained as she offered me the aforementioned ear bud. I put it in my ear and listened.

    I, I feel so humble,

    With you in my life

    “Good, right?” Ashley asked.

    “Really good.” I leaned in and kissed her gently. “You’re better though.”

    “Spence, if you’re going to try to flatter me, you have to make it at least somewhat comparable. There’s no way I’m better than her,” she reminded me with a grin. “But thanks for trying.” She kissed me this time, and it deepened within seconds. I felt her tongue brush along my mouth before finally meeting mine. Her hands explored my hips as mine moved to the back of her neck, pulling me closer. We remained in liplock until we arrived at my dorm.

    “Can’t you just come back with me?”

    “No I have to unpack and change and everything.”

    “You can do that at my apartment,” she insisted.

    “I can’t, Ash… my stuff’s here,” I pointed out. She put on a pout and I kissed her briefly. “Sorry… I’ll call you when I’m done. We can go out for dinner.”

    “Fine,” she relented. We exchanged goodbyes and I headed up to my room. When I got there, Allie was typing something on her computer. She quickly turned stopped when I opened the door.

    “Hey!” I greeted her as I threw my bag down on my bed.

    1. OKAY!!! I just want to say that I LOVE YOUR STORY. Please don’t stop writing. Everytime you posted a new chapter, I was sooo excited because me and my girl just love the way how Ashley and Spencer are with each other. I love the idea that Ashley is famous as a singer and that Spencer is a college student. I am glad that Paula is getting better and that she finally accepted Spencer and Ashley’s relationship. PMS and don’t stop writing. GREAT UPDATE!!!!!

    7. YOU, my dear friend, are one of the most talented writers that I have ever read. This fanfic is by far the most realistic thing that could take place where last season’s SON ended…truely, I’m addicted to Ash and Spence mostly because of this story. (and the fact that they’re extremely hot…) Please PMS!!!

Umm, Kozmic attached please find my reasons outlining why you should not end this story:1) This story, or any story you write after this one (that’s right, I’ll definitely accept another one of your stories in place of this one should you end it) and your writing is fanfuckingtastic!2) Booyahkasha! Ashley worked it out on Spencer (why at 26 am I still using “words” like booyahkasha?).3) Meeting Lauryn Hill was easily one of my top three moments in life so a High-5 to the power of 2 for referencing “I Remember.”Please allow these reasons to marinate in your brain…and although true, pretend that reasons 2 and 3 are actually legitimate.

    11. I really like this story. I was worried about Ash and Spencer for moment…I love this story because it real. alot of couples have up’s and down’s. And i think spencer is kinda curious about ppl but, at least she knows that ash has her heart;)
