Honey and the Moon – (Chapter: Chapter Four: They Don’t Love You Like I Love You.)
I turned on my cell phone, half expecting to have a message from Spencer. But there was nothing. I threw it in my pocket and started the huge job of cleaning up my house.
By the time Bailey go to my place, it was spotless. I had a big self-satisfied grin on my face, even though I knew it would be disastrous in a few days. I hadn’t seen her since Christmas, but she still looked pretty much the same. Her hair was dyed black and parted to the side now, kinda like an emo kid. She was wearing a faded Judas Priest t-shirt, and I prayed she didn’t bring any of her cds with her.
The first thing I said to her was “What’s with the hair?” and she wrapped me up in a big bear hug.
“I missed you so much Davies. Finally someone who gets me. And don’t diss the hair, the metal girls love it.” Yep. Still had an ego the size of Texas.
We carried her bags in, and dumped them near the stairs. We went into the kitchen, grabbed a few beers and went outside to sit by the pool.
“So Davies. You still fucking the brains out of a different LA girl every night?”
“Umm…well actually I wanted to talk to you about that. I’ve got a girlfriend. Kind of.”
“What!?!? Ashley Davies with a girlfriend? Let me guess…dumb blonde with big boobs. It’s gotta be someone who will put up with your multiple partners. Or at least someone you can trick into thinking you have a monogamous relationship. It’s not Madison is it!?”
“No Bailey. You’ve been gone for a while. I’ve changed. Her name’s Spencer. And I love her. But, I’m not so sure about us anymore.” I told her the whole story, from start to finish. We had both finished a couple beers, and Bailey was just pulling out a joint.
“Well…. I say, call her. Right now. If she’s everything you say she is, you need to fight for her Ashley. Girls like me and you don’t deserve girls like her. So if you think she could be the one then what the fuck are you waiting for?”
“Think so? I don’t know Bailey, it just seems so….hard.”
“Davies, don’t be a pussy. Dial her number right now. Talk to her. Tell her you love her more than anything, and you will do anything to keep her. Then invite her over cause I would really like to meet this girl.”
I rummaged around in my pocket and brought out my phone. I starred at the numbers, and then after taking a deep breath and a swig of my beer, I dialed Spencer’s number.

I wonder what’s going to happen, like is Spence on lock down or over it? PMS!
