I Could Never Forget About You – (Chapter: Morning breath)

“Spence, Spence wake up.” I guess I was able to get some shut eye.

“Hmm?” I mumble against my pillow, snuggling more and more into it. I can already tell, by the way the sun shines outside that it’s early.

                    “Spencer.”

“Ashley.” I really don’t want to wake up right now. Why is she up? She never sleeps past noon, well except for the one time I was in her apartment.

“Wake up.” She gives me a little shove. I wonder how long she’s been trying to wake me.

“Is there a fire?” I ask, still not understanding why she’s up so early and wanting to wake me up in the process.

“Um no,” I can hear the smile in her voice.

“Then what time is it?” I ask, moving more into my pillow.

“Early but, I need you to wake up.” Her hands are no longer rocking me. I miss them. Yes I’ve had them all night, but I still miss them.

“Why?” But nothing can really make me wake up completely.

“Because your roommate…” Okay that might.

“What’d she do?” I jump right into a sitting position, my eyes meeting with a smirking Ashley.

“Nothing it’s just…she doesn’t stop staring at me.” I told you, I told you all she’d freak her out.

                    “She’s up?” I ask.

                    “Apparently yeah,”

“Why do people insist on waking up so early?” I sigh, plopping back down into my pillow only this time, my eyes stay on Ashley.

“I had to go to the bathroom.” Ashley shrugs.

“Oh…” I pause for a second just taking her and her beauty in. “…Then come back to bed.” I pat the empty spot next to me.

“Spence, I’m not really that tired anymore.” She replies. Who said I was talking about sleep?

“I never said anything about sleep, Ash.” I send her a smile.

“Oh?” She raises her left eyebrow, grinning as she makes her way to the spot next to me. When she’s finally level with me, I lean in for my morning kiss. Unfortunately it doesn’t last long because Ashley pulls away right as our lips touch.
