“Second it” Blake adds, causing them both to look at each  other and look away

“Come on guys, what was wrong with him?” Spencer asks, why does she even have to ask

“What was wrong with him?!” Shannon asks, “Oh, I’ll tell you what was wrong with him”  she says as she scrolls up her phone, finally she’s ready

“He drives a toolshed of a car, silver is a wannabe color, he was wearing Ed Hardy, designer jeans and his shoes matched, he had on a digital watch, the Livestrong era happened like over a decade ago, he had a hemp necklace, his name rhymes with Dick, the scent from his hair gel made me nauseous and oh how could I forget, he wasn’t Aiden…which by the way where the hell is he?”

“Oh they broke up” I respond

“And now that man being here with her makes sense, so what are we going to do you guys?!”

“Aw he was nice, he seems to have a good head on his shoulders” Spencer says

“Baby, why are you defending him…Kyla is going out on a date with someone that isn’t your brother”

She sighs, “Your right, I can’t believe I just stood up for that guy when I know my brother and her are perfect for each other, I’m a horrible sister”

“You’re not a horrible sister” I reassure her

“You are however a horrible friend, I’ve been here for 3 hours and I haven’t even been offered a drink yet” Shannon comments

“That’s because I know you already stole the bottle of Grey Goose and brought it to your room” Spencer rebuttals

“Shit, anyway…what are we going to do? This is serious you guys!!” She looks at us and we all give her blank stares, I don’t know what she expects us to do, “Ugh! Do I have to do everything around here?” she pulls out her phone and puts it to her ear

“What is she doing?” I ask

“Oh no” Spencer whispers, “Shash, hang up the phone! Shannon!” she rushes out harshly, “Hang up, right now!”

“Hi Aiden!”

Oh no is right.

“I’m good, we’re all down in Florida and we miss you, you should come down…just me, Spencer, Ashley and her sister”

Okay, so that wasn’t weird.

“No, no she’s not here, I actually haven’t talked to her in a while, why what’s up?…You’re kidding! Well now you have no choice, I’m simply not taking no for an answer…okay yeah do that…see you soon hopefully Bye Aid”

“I cannot believe you, you..”

“Are a genius, I know” She bows as she stands up, “Well I’m off to my room, I’ve got a bottle of goose and some scheming to tend to, farewell friends”

“Night” we lazily respond

“So now what’s going to happen?” Blake asks

“I don’t know, but my head is starting to hurt just thinking about it” Spencer says pushing her temples

I tighten my hold around her body and she nuzzles into my neck, her smooth skin grazing mine.

“So we’re going to have this train wreck,” I nod over to Blake who’s still on the couch, “the boozer upstairs, Kyla, Dick, and Aiden all under one roof? What happened to the Spencer and Ashley getaway vacation?”

“There’s a Holiday Inn somewhere down the street, no one will even know we’re gone” she jokes into my neck

I laugh too, little does she know I’m quite serious.
