Los Angeles Breeds Forbidden Love – (Chapter: Fourteen- Mistaken)

Spencer felt the soft hands of the girl across from her brushing the tears from her face and she gazed into her eyes, searching for any hint that might tell her that she wasn’t being used. Apparently she found what she was looking for, because a second later she’d brought their lips together in a fierce kiss.

“Woohoo!” The male shouts drew Spencer away as the van of boys flew past, all cheering and hollering. Spencer rolled her eyes, looking down at the ground as she blushed slightly. Boys always had to ruin the most perfect moments.

“….So, you know anything about changing a tire?” Ashley inquired after a moment, smiling softly as she glanced down at the flat.

“Nope… You?” She replied, feeling the vague awkwardness lift off of them. She stared at the failed hunk of rubber, her head shaking slightly.

“Hah! That’s what AAA is for.” She smirked as she reached for her wallet, producing a AAA card. She dialed the number on the back and relayed their details to the operator. A small argument ensued, and when Ashley hung up, she looked rather agitated, “They said it’ll take two hours to get here.”

“Two hours?” Spencer spoke, a bit shocked as she glanced down at her tire. That was just great, she was going to have to sit here for two hours just to have some unattractive man spend 5 minutes changing a tire.

“If you want, you could just come back to my place for a while. I’ve got my car and everything…” She offered casually, praying Spencer would accept. If she did, then that would mean she had forgiven her almost completely.

“Your sure? I mean, you don’t have anything else to do today?” The blonde cautioned, frowning softly. She hated to think she was impeding on the girls life.

“Nope, blank slate.” That was a small lie. She actually had some work she needed to catch up on today, but it could wait. This was far higher on her priority list.

Spencer sighed, glancing down at her tire before she conceded and gave a little nod, “Alright, I guess for just a little while.” The grin that lit up Ashley’s face forced a smile to appear on her own lips, and happily the pair climbed into the Mercedes Benz and embarked back towards her home. Things were beginning to look up, and they could both only hope that they stayed that way. Although, with their combined bad luck, anything was possible.
