    Spencer dances

    Spencer: “What’ya mean?” She brushes a stray lock of hair behind my ear as she smiles softly at me.

    Ashley: “Spence, you weren’t uncomfortable with all those men there?” Oh!

    Spencer: “No, I wasn’t!” I said shocked.

    Ashley: “Spencer, that’s great!”

    Spencer: “Ashley, I nearly had a heart attack at the very thought of attending the winter dance with all those guys there. But for some reason, tonight, it didn’t even cross my mind. I just knew that I would be okay cause you were there!” She gives me a brilliant smile as she brings her lips to mine and wraps her arms around me.

    Ashley: “I’m glad, baby.”

    Spencer: “Come on, we should go inside.” She groans in protest as her hands cup my ass.

    Ashley: “I don’t want to! Let’s grab the first flight out of here and back to Vermont!” She adds hopefully.

    Spencer: “We’ll be home soon enough.”

    Ashley: “I won’t! I have to go home for the stupid holidays!” Oh right, I forgot. “Come with me!”

    Spencer: “Ash, I don’t really want to be around families right now. Especially not families that hate each other. Come back to school with me!”

    Ashley: “I already promised my sister that I would see her. And my mom pretty much threatened my life and trust fund if I didn’t make an appearance.”

    Everyone would be leaving late tonight: Sara and Kelly would be heading off to Detroit to see Kelly’s mom and then back to Paris to be with the Dooly’s like every year. Kelly finally caved after Sara’s mom passed away. That was what their fight was about. Knowing that her mother was dying, Sara wanted Kelly to make amends with her mother be
    fore she didn’t have the chance to.

    Jessica was heading back to Texas to see her parents and her brothers; Gage was going to New York, and Ashley’s destination was L.A.

    Ashley: “I don’t want to leave you!” She whispers in my ear as she holds me tightly in her arms.

    Spencer: “I don’t want to leave you, either!” I sigh deeply.

    Ashley: “It won’t be for long, only ten days.” She is trying to cheer me up, but she sounds miserable and convinces neither of us.

AMAZING!!! i look on this site everyday like every 5 minutes looking to see if your story is updated and when it is, it makes my day! i loved it! and im glad ashley is back :) Note, you did an amazing job explaining the dance moves of spencer. other stories i read have dance moves and other position (lol) that they try to explain like yours (in detail) but its just to confusing and i must say, you did an amazing job explaining it. didnt get confused once :D looking forward to next update and hope its soon ;)

    21. This chapter was purrrrfect! From Spencer’s dance burlesque-style that I’m sure had Ashley thinking “you give me fever” to Clay’s present…and of course…the ending. Can’t wait for the next one, and I’m happy that Spencer had a little bonding time with Mrs. Hatcher.Love this fic.
