"Oooh, I love the Beatles!" Sammie said, while she was going through Lauren’s, rather large, collection of CD’s, the whole time Lauren staring at her with a smile on her face, Ashley noticed this and thought that something had to be done. She put the CD in and put on her favorite song.

I’ve just seen a face

I can’t forget the time or place, well we just met, she’s just the girl for me and I want all the world to see we’ve met. Hmmhmhmhmmhmmhmmm.

Spencer looked at Ashley and smiled. Ashley turned her head from looking out the window and looked at Spencer. They looked into each other’s eyes until Spencer broke the staring contest and leaned her head on Ashley’s shoulder. Ashley wrapped both arms around Spencer and saw her sister wink at her in the rearview mirror.

When they got to the movie theatre, Spencer and Ashley got out and Ashley walked around to the passenger’s window to talk to Sammie, she rolled her window down and Ashley whispered in her ear.

"I’ll give you twenty bucks if you make out with my sister tonight." When she was done she kissed Sammie on the cheek and pretended like she didn’t see the jealous look on Lauren’s face. When Lauren drove away mad, she turned to Spencer and laughed.

"Why did you do that?" Spencer asked, almost sounding jealous.

"Because I know that she’ll forget all about the money and she makes my sister happy, it’s a win-win situation."

"Clever." Spencer said.

 When the movie was over, Spencer and Ashley walked out to the lobby, holding hands. They didn’t actually watch the movie, if you know what I mean.

Her sister picked her up late, her heair was a mess and so was Sammie’s. Ashley and Spencer looked the same.

"How was the movie?" Sam asked.

"Oh, you know, uh, yeah, I liked it." Spencer said.

They got to Spencer’s and Ashley walked her to her door.

"Thanks for coming tonight, I had fun." Ashley said, with Spencer’s hands in hers.

"Me too. I really, really, like you Ash."

"i like you, too Spence. Can I ask you something?"

"Anything Ash."

"Will you, um, be my, girlfriend?" Ashley asked nervously.

"Yes!" Spencer replied eagerly, and the two sealed it with a kiss.
