    Questions arise between Jorey and Madison.

    The morning after Ashley exposed all of Madison’s skeletons Jorey woke up feeling slightly guilty of the fact that she was trying to sabotage Madison. And Ashley was her #1 fan. She just didn’t know what to do. Madison could be a good person when she wasn’t hiding from the world. After Jorey found out all the details about Madison’s past she understood why Madison wouldn’t allow herself to become close with anyone. She was the daughter of a mother who never wanted her and a father who was now behind bars because she was one of the largest cocaine dealers in California. The father that she called “daddy” now was in fact her stepfather. That was why Ashley and her were such good friends in the early years. Both of them had fathers that had money but didn’t care about their children. For the sake of not getting hurt, Madison pushed everyone away from who she really was. She never had friends, she had minions to do her dirty work. Non of which actually gave a shit about her, only the rep that they built because of her. As far as Jorey knew she was the closest thing to a friend that Madison had.

     

    Day three was the end of Operation Extinguish Head Cheer-bitch. Jorey just couldn’t push herself to inflict more pain onto Madison. She believed in Karma but as far as she was concerned Madison had just as much pain in her life as Ashley or Spencer. It didn’t seem right to hurt her anymore than she had already been hurt. From now on Jorey vowed to herself that she would be a true friend to Madison.

     

    King High erupted in chaos when the first period bell rang. Students scrambled to class rooms to avoid tardiness. As Jorey sat in her first period anatomy class she thought about what Madison’s life was like when her father was out of jail and how her mother treated her. Her thoughts were interrupted when a tall, dark haired young man stood over her looking down.

     

    “So, you’re Jorey?”

     

    “Maybe, who asking?”

     

    “I’m Aiden. Ash and Spence told me about you.”

     

    “Oh right, you’re the friend that was out of town for family stuff.”
