    At the club, three girls, one boy, dancing, home truths and a confession…

    Ashley had just picked Spencer up for their group night out, it had become a regular thing the four of them hanging out. But the moment Spencer had got in the car she could tell that Ashley’s thoughts were some where else. She didn’t want to let it get to her, of course she would be worried about Sophia, but she couldn’t help that her feeling went deeper for the new dark haired beauty.

    “Did you manage to get in contact with Sophia?” Spencer questioned knowing she had to bring it up.

    “What?” The other voice had bought Ashley back to reality.

    “Sophia. Have you spoken to her?” She hated being jealousy and hated that someone else was on Ashley’s mind.

    “No, not yet.” She couldn’t explain why she felt that she couldn’t talk about it to Spence, she would usually tell the blonde everything. Now they were sitting in silence again. “Hopefully I will see her tonight and everything will get sorted.”

    “Yep.” That was all the other girl had to offer the conversation. She didn’t know why the next comment left her mouth, maybe it was because she wanted a reaction from the brunette sitting beside her. “I hope Aiden is still coming, I really want to see him.” Ok she did know why she said it, she wanted Ashley to feel the jealousy she was feeling.

    “I reckon he will be there. This is Aiden any excuse to go out with a group of girls.” Her smile faltered but only for a second and then reappeared. “You thinking about getting with him again?” It hurt her to ask the question but she was only Spencer’s friend and she was starting to think that was all she was ever going to be. They had their moments when everything felt so amazing and wonderful but they hadn’t occurred lately.

    “Maybe.” Spencer looked out the window closing her eyes painfully, that had not been the response she had expected. It was starting to sink in that maybe her moment with Ashley had come and she had missed her chance. “He is a really nice guy.” She believed what she was saying, he was a nice guy, maybe it was him she was meant to be with; however being with him was nothing to compared to the way she felt when she was with Ash.
