By the time she left the gift shop, she had everything you could think of. Flowers, ballons, cards, teddy bear, she went back into the waiting room looking like a little kid leaving a carnival. She sat in the waiting room for what seemed like hours on end. Another doctor came from behind a door reding something off another sheet of paper. "Miss Carlin, your…uh…"the doctor really didnt know what to say. Spencer stood up and rushed to the doctor.

"Girlfriend." Spencer stated as if filling in the gap.

"right." the doctor said. "You can see her now."

Spencer walked down the long hall being guided by the doctor. The walk kept getting longer and longer. Each turn of the corner seeming that much further away. Finally the doctor turned to a door and knocked twice before opening the door allowing spencer to walk inside.

Spencer approached the bedside taking a glance at ashley, who had tears running down her face. She had two babies, one in each arm. She was sitting up slightly but was more to the side of the bed expecting spencer’s entrance. She looked up at spencer and smilled. "My god spencer," she spoke softly. "You look like hallmarks new spokesperson." Spencer set down the gifts in variouse places before walking up to the bed next to ashley.

Spencer stared down at the two babies. They were so small but so cute and adorable. Their cheeks were slightly chubbed and their fingers were so short. One was dressed in blue and one was dressed in pink. Spencer ran her hand over the face of the warm baby in front of her before switching to the other. She was crying tears of joy. "Ashley, their beautiful." She spoke softly. She brushed back some stray locks of brunnette curls from ashleys face. "Just like their mother." Spencer smiled.

Ashley looked up at spencer with a glistening look in her eye. She nodded her head downward to the place in the bed next to her signaling spencer to get in there. Spencer climbs her way into the bed next to ashley. Ashley carefully hands spencer the baby in blue. LEtting the head rest in the bend of her arm, spencer held the bay so gently wrapping her arm around its body. "avery davies" spencer said in a quiet and soft whisper. Another thought dawned on her. "Ash, avery has no middle name."

The thought hadnt even crossed ashleys mind. "Well, we named amanda after you. Who is a guy we care about alot?" ashley asked seriously.

"Aiden?" spencer asked. The name Avery Aiden Davies Didnt sound right to her.

"That would be great, but it doesnt sound right." Ashley said thinking outloud. "O. What about AVery Mathew Davies?"

Spencer like the sound of it. "Where did you get mathew?" spencer asked.

"Its aidens middle name." Ashley said flatly.

"Oh. I like it." spencer said happily. A nurse walks in with a large smile on her face.

The nurse begins to set a few things around the room and pick a few things up. she began filling out the forms off the end of the bed. "so how are the proud and happy parents doing?" the nurse asked with a a large smile and a sqeeky voice.

"you know. Happy and proud." Ashley said. "Oh, spence, did you remeber to pack the camera?" spencer nodded.

Spencer looked at the nurse. "Could you take a picture of us? The camera in in the front pocket of the bag."

The nurse nodded and took the shinny digital camera from the bag. She turned it on and held it up adjusting the distance. "Okay, everybody smile." he nurse said from behind the camera. 

Spencer held avery and ashley held amanda, both towards the middle as they placed there heads together with huge smiles. Ashley looked over at spencer from the corner of her eye. "Okay, 3…2…" Ashley turned her head and planted a kiss on spencers cheek softly right as the camera let out a bright flash of light and a click sound making a beautiful picture appear on the screen.

They of course took many more pictures before departing the hospital.
