    Spencer has lunch with Lindsay. Spencer and Ashley see more than just a movie.

    “How so?”

    “Like, at first she’s really into it…playing domestic or whatever. Then after awhile she feels trapped. I know the routine. The worst thing Ashley and I ever did was move in together in college. We had just started our relationship again and practically three hours later we were playing married. Bad idea.”

    “Not to mention that you had just broken up with me the previous day,” Lindsay said, but she wasn’t bitter. She and Spencer had moved way past the point of bitterness over their past romance.

    “Exactly, nothing about it was a good idea. We tried to build a house with no foundation so of course it fell apart in the first sign of a storm.”

    “So, when do you see her again?”

    “Tonight. We’re going to see some movie she’s been trying to drag me to for days.”

    “Well, have fun. I’ll be cleaning out what is soon to be your room.”

    “I’ve seen that room and it’s not pretty.”

    “Far from it, but I promise it’ll be a very different room by the time you see it again. It’s not like I have a girlfriend to distract me…or even a date.”

    “Whatever happened to that painter you were seeing?”

    “Ursula? The schizophrenic?”

    “Um…yeah.”

    “I guess she started seeing someone else…or another version of herself. Who knows? She was fucking bonkers, Spence.”

    “Fine, what about Amber?”

    “She sold all her belongings and joined a cult.”

    “You’re kidding.”

    “I wish I was, Spencer. I wish I was.”

     

     

                A few hours later, Spencer and Ashley were sitting in a crowded movie theater, happily munching on popcorn and holding hands.

    “Ok, I admit it. This movie is pretty good,” Spencer whispered to Ashley.

    “See? I told you. It would be even better if we weren’t sitting behind the newlyweds up here.”

    Spencer nodded.

                Ever since the movie had started, the annoying lesbian couple in front of them had been making out and talking way above the whisper Ashley and Spencer were using.

    “We should say something,” Spencer whispered to Ashley, “they’re making it really hard to enjoy the movie.”

    “I’ll get their attention,” Ashley replied, lightly tapping the back of the blonde one’s chair.

                When the blonde ignored her, Ashley became more annoyed and kicked the chair instead.

    “Hey, what the hell is your problem?!” the blonde turned around and yelled at a smirking Ashley Davies.

    But now Spencer could see the face of the blonde more clearly, and as the stranger’s brunette girlfriend turned around, Spencer suddenly felt sick, “Lindsay? Rachel?”

    3. LoL. I personally think that’s kind of funny, but it also sucks because that’s Spencer’s best friend. I kind of think karma is kicking her in the ass. PMS!

    6. OMG, thats was great chapter. hopefully spencer doesn’t get to mad or jealous and ruin things with ashley, who cares is racheal and lindsay got together i was hoping spencer wouldl of told lindsay to go out with her ex. but anyway PMS
