    Author Notes:

    “Fine if that’s true then this engagement is over Aiden!!! We’re done!!” I scream

    When I can’t take not knowing anymore I ask quietly, “Ashley?”

    Her eyes open and she says, “Yeah?”

    “What happened? Please let me help you.” I plead softly

    She shuts her eyes tightly and begins crying again. I can’t take watching her cry so I say firmly, “Okay, we won’t talk about it now but we will talk about it. I won’t let this go, Ashley.”

    She opens her eyes and says softly, “Thank you.”

    I just smile and say, “You’re welcome. Now go to sleep. I’m going to take care of you.”

    She smiles and asks shyly, “Will you sleep with me? Please.’

    I frown a little and say, “I’d love to baby but I don’t want to hurt you.”

    “You won’t. Please.” She pleads

    I can’t say no to her. I nod my head and say, “I’m going to ice you for a little while longer. Go to sleep and I’ll climb in afterwards.”

    She smiles and closes her eyes. I iced her for another hour or so and then got ready for bed. I guess I made a little too much noise because as I was changing I heard her say, “Spencer?”

    “Yeah? Is it hurting a lot?’ I ask concerned

    “No. It’s okay. Can I borrow some boxers?’

    “Sure,” I smile. I had already planned on changing her and taking off her shoes. I finish getting ready to bed, grab and extra pair of boxers and walk over to the bed. I take her shoes off and begin to unzip her pants but she stops me with her hands. I can tell she’s blushing so I say soothingly, “It’s okay. I’m just taking care of you. Relax”

    She lets go but not before smiling shyly. I can’t help but smile as I took her pants off and put the boxers on. I then climb in to bed and pull the covers over both of us. As soon as the covers were on us she immediately lays her head on my chest and snuggles into me. I just wrap my arms around her loosely as to not hurt her and softly rub her back. It didn’t take long for her to fall asleep. Sleep doesn’t come easy for me. I want to know who hurt her so that I can possibly kill them. After a while I kiss her head and whisper, “Good night, beautiful.”

    I then finally fall asleep praying that I get some answers tomorrow.

This is where the mafia should come back. Spencer’s so protective, taking care of Ash like that. I did like that part. I can’t wait for karma to bite that bastard in the ass. Greate update, PMASAP!!!!!!
