“Start explaining, Kyla. Now.” Ashley growls
Kyla looks at her feet and begins rambling, “Christine called me looking for you. She said she had been calling you for weeks and you hadn’t called her back so she was worried. I told her everything was fine and that you were doing great. She seemed relieved and then she asked what you were up to and well I told her you were having with Spencer’s parents.”
“You told her about Spencer and me?’ Ashley groans
“It kind of slipped when I was telling her about how happy you were. She seemed to take it okay. Anyways, she wanted to send you some stuff she said she had bought you in Italy so I gave her this address. That’s when she lowered the boom on me. Right after I gave her your address she said that instead of sending you the stuff she was going to bring it to you in person, tonight.” Kyla mumbles
“Oh no, no, no!!” Ashley begins to groan
So this is not good, not good at all. I grab Ashley and begin to drag her to the bathroom. I call over my shoulder to Kyla, “Look after the food Kyla. Nothing better burn.”
Hearing that made Ashley moan and try to go back in to the kitchen but I hold on tight. Once I sat her down on the toilet, I begin to look for the first aid. Once I had it I begin to clean out her cut while I murmur soothingly, “It’s going to be fine Ashley. Your Mom coming over isn’t a big deal.”
“Ha, you don’t know my mother Spencer. She’s going to put me down the entire evening and at the end of it she’ll demand money. That’s all she’s here for. Money.” Ashley says bitterly
I sigh and say, “Okay, how about we do this? If she gets here before my parents do we’ll kick her out but if she gets here after them we can either let her stay or kick her out. Whichever you want we’ll do.”
“She’ll make a scene if we try to kick her out. I so wanted to make a good impression on your parents,” Ashley says sadly
“You will, sweetheart. Everything will be fine. As soon as your mother comes in I’ll have some words with her. If she ignores what I have to say I’ll kick her out myself.” I say firmly

You know it is really nice to be able to get on here and have the post waiting it can get very frustrating when ur wanting to know what happens but the author never posts…anyway keep up the good work…PMS

Awesome update. Paula really surprised me since I thought that she would be the one to cause the drama, but I’ve been wrong before. She really mellowed out and Christine was such a bitch to Ashley. I was glad that Spencer kicked Christine out and that Paula accepted Ashley. PMASAP.
WOW what a bitch Christine actually is..poor Ash and what she had to go through. And what was up with Paula Carlin being all nice and sweet? lol I’m liking that version of Paula. Well seeing that Ash had convinced Paula that Spence could have a nice wedding and children, do we maybe see a marriage proposal in the near future? I’m kind of hoping just a bit =) Anyways you always know how to put a smile on my face when it comes to your updates because there the first thing I read when I see them. Well I’m sure I’ve said this a couple of times but you have got to be one of the best writers on this board. Everyone of your stories rock and look foward to more great ones in the future…Ok well keep going with this story because its one of my favorites! PMASAP

ashley finally got her courage and told christine off and spencer probably would have flipped her lid and done a lot worse to the woman if ash didn’t come in at that exact moment. Paula opening up to ash was great, she likes ash and not allison which is a good thing now maybe things can start getting better for ashley pms
That, was awesome! Paula is great, I’m glad she’s accepting Spencer and Ashley. Christine, one word, bitch. How can she treat someone like that, her own daughter. I completely agree with everything AugustLove said. Great update.
*sighs* I love them together. I love how they defend each other. Man, you make me wish I had a girlfriend. Geez, why don’t I have one? *smile*. Now, how much does Christine suck? To actually admit that you don’t love your child and then in the same breath try and say that it’s her “obligation” to take care of her. If I was Ashley, I would give her the absolutely minimum to survive. No trips to Paris. No shopping sprees. She would be put on a mere stipend enough for living and food! I felt so bad for Ashley. I did wonder if Kyla got this same treatment from Christine. Hmmm. And oh yeah, I love how Ashley was able to change Paula’s mind. So cool. Love how they sleep naked together … so adorable. Thank you for rocking my morning (you know I was so happy to see it there. ready and waiting. you’re the best!). Now I must get ready for work. Thanks for the inspiration. Much love.
This post was great!!! I’m glad Spencer kicked Christine out. I wish she would have done it sooner! I really liked Paula and Arthur, they were cool about the whole situation. The exorcist thing was really funny and all of the little endearing interactions between Spence and Ash are adorable! pms because I don’t know how i could go on without this story!!! Really, Really wonderful-especially that last part, it brought a tear to my eye…!!

God what a bitch and talk about rude. Good thing Spencer threw the bitch out. And Spencer and Ashley are so sweet together. Loved this update cause for once they catch a break with Paula =) PMASAP!!!!
