    There’s a loud knock on the door. I open my eyes slowly and expect to find Ashley in my arms but I quickly realize she’s not there. I turn my head and I see that the bed is empty. My heart begins to beat fast. This is not a good. Maybe Ashley is in living room watching a movie or she’s having something to eat. I pull up the covers to my body, sit up and call out, “Come in.”

    The door opens slowly and Kyla pokes her head into the room and asks, “You guys decent.”

    Guys? I frown and say, “Isn’t Ashley with you?”

    Kyla then walks in and says, “No, I thought she was with you.”

    “Oh fuck, she‘s must of left.” I groans

    Kyla asks worried, “When did she leave?”

    “I don’t know. I just don’t know.” I mutter

    “Did you guys get in a fight?” Kyla asks

    “No, we didn’t. Look Kyla, let me get dressed and I’ll meet you in the living room to talk about this.” I say firmly

    She just nods her head and leaves the room. I quickly get dressed and go to the living room. As soon as I get there she asks, “What happened Spencer?’

    “I don’t know. Everything was fine. I mean when I woke up we talked a little. I asked her if she was okay and she said that she was. I asked her if she wanted me to find her a psychologist and she said yes and then….” I trail off

    “Then what?” Kyla pushes

    I sigh and say, “I-I was about to say that I loved her and she didn’t let me instead…umm…ummm…”

    “What Spencer?”

    “She pretty much seduced me, okay.” I blush

    “I already knew that. Then what?” Kyla says

    “How?” I blush more

    “You guys aren’t exactly quiet. Stop changing the subject and tell me what happened next.” Kyla snaps

    Still blushing I snap, “Nothing. When I woke up she was gone. Where the hell where you? She wouldn‘t of left if you were here.”

    Kyla frowns and snaps back, “I went to the police station to press charges against the bastard. By the way, you should know he already made bail and he’s out. I was going to knock on the door to let you guys know I was leaving but as soon as I heard the noises I turned around and left. I’d figure I was doing you a favor by not interrupting. As far as Ashley goes, she’s running.”
