    “I’m sorry, Kyla. I should have snapped at you. What is Ashley running from?” I ask confused and scared at the same time. I’m afraid that I’m the one that pushed her into running away. Maybe I should of stopped the love making and made her talk instead. I know she was in some turmoil but I didn’t want to push her. Fuck, fuck, fuck. She just made love to me damn it. How could she walk away from me after that? It wasn’t sex. She made love to me. I know it was more than sex to her. She has to come back. She has to. I need her. I love her. I don’t know what I’ll do if something happens to her or if she goes back to that bastard. I don’t think I would be able to stand it. I know she feels something for me. I can tell by the way she looks at me, the way she touches me, the way she responds to my slightest touch. I can’t be wrong about that. I just can’t.

    “That’s okay. Don’t worry about it. She’s running from you, Aiden, this whole mess. I think she knew what you were going to say and wasn’t ready to hear it. So instead of talking about it she expressed herself in another way. I know Ashley and she’s running know. She’s probably feeling overwhelmed and thinks she needs to be by herself to figure things out.” Kyla explains

    I run my fingers thorough my hair and ask nervously, “So now what?”

    “We wait. We have no other choice.” Kyla says firmly

    “Wait, wait? She needs us right now. How can we sit here and do nothing?” I snap back in frustration

    “We have to Spencer. She’s not going to talk to us or anybody for that matter till she’s ready. Besides she’s not going to be found till she wants to be. Trust me. I‘ve been through this with her in the past.” Kyla says firmly

    Tears are now beginning to run down my face. I softly sob, “Kyla what if she goes sees him? What if she goes back to him?”

    Kyla just goes over to me and hugs me tightly as she murmurs, “I don’t know what will happen, Spencer. I don’t know what she’ll do. She’s just running scared. We just have to wait and see.”

    I just hug her tighter to me and sob. I’ve never felt this hurt or this powerless. I’m so scared of what might .happen next.
