“Hey Sponge” He came over and hugged her before going into the kitchen to get dinner started. Spencer had not spoken to another human in the last hour so she walked behind her dad to maybe get a little bit of communication from the human species.

“Dad how was work?”

“Is this the great Spencer Carlin asking about her old man’s boring job?”

She looked at him and rolled her eyes before picking a carrot out of the bowl he was getting ready to chop up. “I’m not that bad dad. I really care about that boring job of yours. Without it I would not be able to afford all my great not so boring clothes.” She laughed then ducked out the kitchen before he could hit her with the towel.

Ashley waited for Kali to get her arm set. She could not believe what she saw when see walked into Kali’s room earlier. Kali was lying on the floor with books everywhere. She didn’t know exactly what the girl was trying to do but, she did know that it involved books being stacked up and Kali falling straight down.

“Ms. Davies” the doctor walked out of the hospital room in search of Ashley.

Ashley stood up and ran over to the Doctor. “Yes, that’s me. Is my sister alright?”

Dr. Carlin looked the young teen up and down, and then smiled. “She is fine. This happens all the time. I remember something like this happening to Spencer when she was young. But, your sister beats the cake when it comes to stories. Did she happen to tell you how it happened?”

Ashley blinked when she heard the name Spencer. She took it that the doctor in front of her was none other then Spencer Carlin’s mother. She was stuck in her thoughts that she almost forgot she was asked a question. “Umm no she didn’t tell me, but I really would like to know.” She wanted to know so she could bust Kali’s ass. Her mother was really going to be angry when she found out, if she ever came home to find out. “Can I see my sister?”

“Sure, sorry that’s what I came out to tell you. She did not do too much damage. She banged up her wrist, but nothing that a good cast and a sticker can not fix. Follow me I’ll take you to your sister.”
