    Spencer Carlin: The great Pretender?

    Spencer’s P.o.V.

Clay came home in time for dinner. It was just the four of us because Glen was still playing B-Ball…or so we thought. Nobody was alarmed that he wasn’t home yet because he did that a lot. He is really dedicated to being number one, and he is a pretty good player…like maybe NBA good, definitely college, if he doesn’t do anything stupid, and when it comes to Glen, that’s a big if.

Which reminds me, do you remember how I said we only thought he was still playing b-ball? Well, he wasn’t he was off doing something stupid. He didn’t get his knee messed up during a pickup game or nothing like that, but what he did do was even more stupid.

When he finally came home an hour or two after we were all done eating, the table was clear, he heated up his plate which Mom had left in the microwave for him, and sat down to eat alone. I was using my walker by now, and going to the fridge to get something to drink, once I did that, I decided to go to the table and talk to him.

Nice of you to stop playing for the day, and come home. I joked.

“Aww, did my little sister miss me?” He jokes back.

Yeah… I missed you like I miss the time I had Pink Eye. I continued sarcastically.

“Good one…, but actually I wasn’t playing basketball.” He said with a grin.

I knew that grin, it could only mean one thing…he was with a girl.

“Basketball and cheerleading practice ended at the same time. I noticed this one chick admiring my skills the whole time.”

    He said confirming’ my theory.

“I mean they were all digging me, but this chick was really hot for me…”

I rolled my eyes as he continued.

“She’s smoking hot Spence, nice legs, nice ass, nice tits; face ain’t bad to look at either….oh and those lips! They taste like candy!

Uh-huh…what’s Candy Girl’s name? I asked as I was about to lose all interest if I had to listen to anymore of that crap.

“Ummm…I don’t remember.” He says honestly.

I could tell he was really thinking hard, but he couldn’t remember even though he was just with the girl.
